Well good morning! Or afternoon, wherever you are.
Today we'll have a high of zero degrees. There's no little negative sign in front of today's number. WHOO HOO!
Nothing too exciting here. I have an appt. to check up on the peripheral neuropathy thing, will stop on the way home as long as I'm downtown and get some stuff needed for an interview of a couple out here. Looking forward to this one, the story is on a local couple raising a homeland security puppy.
Then I gotta decide what's for dinner!
My youngest is bustling around and getting ready for school, she's the last one off. I had to stop the second one and make her cry. Mean mom that I am, I forced her to put on a hat and her snowpants, although she did escape without her heavy gloves. BRAT! LOL Twenty below and she tries to get out the door every morning without me seeing her, but occasionally I scare the tar out of her and yell "CLOTHING INSPECTION!" When I do that you can see the steam start coming out her ears. I tried making her pay me for every time she didn't dress right, but she found it worth it. LOL
Gotta love this place though! Got teenagers, and don't have to worry about them trying to sneak out in short skirts or tank tops or anything, instead they try to sneak out with thin gloves instead of heavy ones, sneakers instead of boots, etc.. I did give her extra lunch money and that made her a little happier. It was from the money she had to pay me for not wearing her warmer stuff anyhow...ya know, this could really work! I pay them for their chores and stuff, make them pay me for not dressing right, give it back to them for school stuff...if I do this right I can allot 20 dollars each, keep recycling it like this, back and forth, and we could keep working the majority of the $20 dollars over and over with only occasionally having to put more in for when it actually gets spent outside the home. ROFL
