It is a beautiful day here in the Ozarks. I hope to get outside later and take my girls to the park.

    GRACIOUS! Y'all are chatty today!

Gayla, I've been on the email list for Veggie Tales for years. About 4 years ago they sent out a plea for Ambassadors. I filled out a form and now am asked each time when something new comes out if I still will be the local ambassador. There's only one per small town type thing. I even got a printed color business card (ONE) with my name as Ambassador. LOLOL Check out www.bigidea.com to see if they're still looking for them.

The fog is REALLY thick and Jim had to go to Chattanooga with his work today. A lot of men are driving up.

Dr. Bob takes off his bow tie when he's in his casual wear. There's a bunch of pictures of him and Dr. Teresa in the members photo album from some of their last cruises.

Debby, we have good insurance now but Jim gets to see some of Emory's best doctors as his specialists through the VA so he doesn't want to change to local doctors. With our income, we pay zero at the VA. Our AGI for last year was $3424.00.

Well, it was supposed to be 45º today and rainy, then turn to snow tonight.

I don't know what it is doing outside right now, but we had a beautiful, sunny day and reached a high of 65º!!! Makes me yearn all the more for Spring...

Time for bed and my library book. It is due back this Thursday.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Night Sue.

Well Jim had his days mixed up but it turned out for the better! He goes to Chattanooga tomorrow instead. Of course, he won't be home in time for church tomorrow night but might be back in time for a committee meeting. He and Nick went over to my best friends house to help with a computer problem she has to have fixed so she can finish her college work.

    Good morning all:

The weather sure has changed from yesterday! It is 32º and cloudy, with an expected high of 38º and snow flurries. 21º tonight with a high of 35º tomorrow.

Crossing, school work, papers, de-cluttering. Life as usual...

    Cruising,

    Morning all:

Sue, it was supposed to be 47 for a low last night...it's still 61 here. But, they say it will fall by 8am to 47 and then to 40 by 5pm with 38 being the overnight low. Guess the front didn't come in as fast as they predicted. When Viv left at 3am, it was 65 and smelled of rain. She said she saw several flashes of lightening in her hour long drive from here to Lebanon, TN.

Though I had small, quick but severe bouts of vertigo yesterday, I did manage to get one of the dressers into the master bedroom and the drawers up off of the floor and into it. Today, I've got to try and find the box with the dishes, crock pot and juicer in it. Also have to work on a webpage for the church for the pastors approval. If I don't get it done today, it will have to be submitted next Wednesday since he's going to be out of town this Sunday.

My mom made it to GA safely, I guess. Her flight was yesterday, and I've not heard anything. That's usually a good sign in my family! LOL She's supposed to go see one of my sisters in Waycross, GA and her husband. They just started a new IFB church there two or three weeks ago. She said if time allows and she has the money, she is going to try and come up here and help us get things arranged in the house, bringing my other two sisters with her. It would be a big help to us, I know that.

Blessings on all of you! :) Have a great day!

    Good morning Tony:

Is this the 'new' church you are making a web page for?

It's good to hear your mother is feeling so much better! I hope she can make it up there to visit and help ya'll out. Unpacking is a big job even when you're feeling 'top notch'.

It was 65º yesterday and I wore a jacket, instead of my regular coat, to the crossing. I should have known better. I woke up this morning with a very heavy chest and coughing. I sure hope it doesn't turn into something other than a slight cold. Yuck!

I left Word Up for YOU. I had it almost done and my computer froze up on me and I lost it all. I don't have the heart to do the same word twice.

Sue, the webpage is for the "new" church. They are really reaching the community, and I believe they could reach more if they had a webpage showing what the church is doing. They used to have a "complimentary" webpage, but, it didn't allow them to do very much. So, I'm going to try and work on one for them. I'm not a "webmaster" by any means, but I do have friends who are willing to assist if I have any trouble.

I hope you get to feeling better. Vivian didn't take a jacket to work today because it was so warm when she left. I hope she doesn't get sick. Those falling temps really get her if she's not careful.

LOL...I'll try to get to Word.

I believe that a well put together webpage is worthwhile. Those who visit your site that are locals, looking for a church home, may be more inclined to visit your church.

In today's internet driven world, a great webpage, keeps your members informed, offers words of encouragement and is an inviting tool to say, "you are welcome here."

I agree, Gib. I've done several webpages that were pretty well received. Nothing too fancy, just enough to catch the eye and keep people informed. We've got a growing community out here where we live, and the church knows a LOT of these people have internet service, and they want to be able to refer people to the webpage(s) for info, how to contact the pastor, etc., and how to become a Christian. Just pray I can get a good usable one done in the near future.

For once I agree with Gib! Haha. I do think a nicely done website can go a long way.

Blackbird, I must say I am impressed! At least it was electric so you aren't making yourself sound too old.

Be still my heart! Chips and Gib agree on something!

    Morning everyone!

My schedule and Sue's sound quite a bit similar, although when I go to school, I don't have to stand on the corner! They like me, so I get to sit in my car right outside the door. If someone else doesn't beat me to my spot. LOL

Tony, my kids went without coats this morning as well. I'll have to be early today and get them just as they come out so they don't get cold. Both are in short sleeves as it is well into the sixties.

I thought the front was trying to move through yesterday evening, as it clouded up and the temp dropped from the seventies into the sixties. Evidently didn't happen as it is about the same temp this morning.

Sue, today's decluttering includes my sewing table and a bookcase. Such very different places but those two need it the worst.....

    Have fun with yours!

Better watch out for dead things in your bed!

Hershey(our last cat) used to leave "presents" for us in various places. Moles in the sunroom, huge pine bugs in the middle of where we walk, an occasional mouse(she always wanted those back), that kind of thing.

CG: Oreo used to like you!

MK: My area for today is my desk. With my chest hurting, I don't have the energy to be up, moving around too much.

Morning all. It's sure still gray and ugly here! It's not cold tho but won't be out of the 50's the rest of the week with lots of spring rain. Mud everywhere!

Tonight is AWANA. I'm taking the new Veggie Tale for the kids and some posters and stickers. The teachers made them bookmarks with their pictures to give to the parents.

Yes. I will have to make it up to the cats.

I have to figure out what is wrong with the toilet. It doesn't seem to have any pressure behind it when I flush. Ick!!! Not my idea of fun. Any advice?

You tank might not be filling/emptying properly. Does it sound like the water is running/even trickling all the time?
