I have not read White's book. I always thought I'd like to read it, but haven't aquired it yet.
I have; however, read Norris' book The Unbound Scriptures - A Review of KJV-only Claims and Publications
Norris is very thorough in his presentation and has an extensive bibliography which include nearly every pro-KJV book I ever heard of.
IMO, Norris generalizes the KJVO claims a bit. He does acknowledge that there are varying degrees of KJVO, but then tends to lump them all together when refuting the various claims.
He also trivializes David Sorenson's book Touch Not The Unclean Thing which I believe was written by one of the most balanced of all modern KJV defenders. -
Pastor Bob, you should read James' book because you will find what comments he gives unbelievably. I read it and realized he is a MV adovcate. This book that I do not recommend, is that I suggest you to read and see something strange. After you read it, you will see what you think of him.
David Cloud gives his interesting comments about James White in his website. -
Write that over Askjo. No offense but it didn't make sense.

PS The White book? "More refuted tripe." -
Where's that smiley face thingy? :D Ah there it is.

I have and agree with White's text. Sorenson (a classmate of mine in bible college when we said "if the KJV is good enough for Paul it's good enough for me") is as biased as Cloud and typical of the only - not the extreme Ruckman.
I would recommend White, but have not compared it to Norris' works. Sorry. -

God forbid!
Oh, wait. That isn't in the Greek . . but it IS in the KJV1611 -
Or is it in the image of the Greek?

The fact is that James R. White is incapable to answer Robert's questions.

Most of the time people don't respond because they know it a waste of time.
Hence why I ignore most of the people on the Versions Forum! -
I don't know if I'm equipped for this debate - it seems that most of you know much more about the matter than I do.
Having said that, I will say that I have a copy of "The King James Only Controversy," and I like it. I thought it was well written and respectful even to those who are KJVO. -

Hey, at least you are respectful.
