No, the first Gov to forbid the use was the one who stockpiled it, from Nevada. Whitmer from Michigan then forbade Drs. & Pharmacists to prescribe or fill scripts, & threatened taking their licenses if they did so. She has since rescinded that order & requested federal help getting these drugs. I believe some governors are still forbidding drs prescribing it, & people can only get it if they are hospitalized.

 

This is pure TDS. Nothing else explains it. Utterly irrational.

Too bad NYS hospitals are waiting so late in the disease stage for treating patients with Chloroquine, like after they are about dead on respirators. FDA authorized it for emergency use. It is the double blind studies where patients do not have such advanced stage of lung destruction that will likely be the best usage for it, instead of waiting so long. its like you got a piece of wood that is rotting, if you can treat it early you have a better chance of being able to have it continue to function than if it has totally rotted throughout. At some point just about dead is truly dead.

 

Well, next thing you know, some leftist activist is going to use this to off their spouse, just like the fish tank cleaner looney. Ivermectin is the active ingredient in most horse wormers, & many dog & cat wormers. TSC is still open. Better get ya some!

 

You know somebody is going to try it without medical supervision. They better get the dosage right by weight, but the horse dog and cat wormer is the same basic stuff as people will be taking maybe someday unlike the fish tank cleaner which is poisonous. Encouraging that there exists several easy to obtain drugs that are well tolerated that can be trialed. They will be studying this hopefully soon here in the US.

Ivermectin is in the Heartgard medicine I give my dogs to prevent heartworms. Good to know it is safe for humans and may help with COVID-19.

 

Don’t get too excited, ivermectin is responsible for severe adverse reactions in certain breeds, up to & including death. Another horse wormer, Panacur C has been touted as a cure for many cancers, I’ve heard that since well before this virus, so..............
