Statement from Coral Ridge Ministries Executive Vice President regarding Dr. Kennedy’s Health
Dr. D. James Kennedy suffered a cardiac arrest at his Fort Lauderdale home on Thursday evening, December 28. He received excellent treatment on site and was quickly taken to the hospital for further care.
Dr. Kennedy remains hospitalized at this time. His condition is serious but he is responsive and showing encouraging signs of improvement.
We earnestly covet your prayers at this time for Dr. Kennedy's return to health, for his family, and for the physicians attending him.
We will update this information as more details are made available.

Update on Dr. Kennedy's Health -- Saturday, December 30 at 9 PM EST
Dr. Kennedy continues to improve. He was taken off the ventilator as of 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 30, and was able to talk and interact with others. We are very encouraged at this improvement in his condition and request continued prayers on his behalf.

Dr. D. James Kennedy suffered a cardiac arrest at his Fort Lauderdale home on Thursday evening, December 28. Dr. Kennedy remains hospitalized at this time, however has made very encouraging progress in the last few days. He is off life support, sitting up, and speaking with family.
We are so thankful for your prayers and encouragement! Please continue to pray for Dr. Kennedy and his family during his recovery.

We are grateful for the many expressions of concern that have been made on behalf of Dr. D. James Kennedy.
On Thursday, December 28, Dr. Kennedy suffered heart arrhythmia leading to cardiac arrest. He was given CPR and admitted to the hospital. He has since improved. On Wednesday, January 3 he underwent a procedure to implant a pacemaker/defibrillator and continues to make progress.
We are so thankful for your prayers and encouragement! Please continue to intercede on his behalf for a complete recovery and for his return to his normal ministry duties.

I am pleased to report that Dr. Kennedy has now been transferred from ICU to a private hospital room. He is alert and receiving physical therapy. We are enormously grateful for the many expressions of concern that have been made on his behalf.
As has been reported earlier, Dr. Kennedy suffered heart arrhythmia leading to cardiac arrest on Thursday, December 28. He was given CPR and admitted to the hospital. He has since improved. On Wednesday, January 3 he underwent a procedure to implant a pacemaker/defibrillator and continues to make progress.
