Proverbs 18:10 (KJV1611 Edition):
The name of the Lord is a a strong tower:

Even the accursed NIV (Nasty Infidel's Version :) ) says:

Gal 6:2, 5 (KJV1611 Edition)
Gal 6:2 Beare ye one anothers burthens, and so fulfill the Law of Christ.
...
Gal 6:5 For euery man shall beare his owne burthen.
In the KJV this appears to be a contradiction:
bear one another's burdens AND don't bear one another's burdens.
But it is not the same Greek word for the two different
kinds of 'burden's
Galations 6:2,5 (HCSB = Christian Standard Bible /Holman, 2003/ ):
2 Carry one another's burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
...
5 For each person will have to carry his own load.
Here in a modern language version it is quite clear:
We are to help one another bear the burdens
that are impossible for them to bear alone
but we are each to take care of our own load (responsibilites). -
Genesis 8:13 (KJV1611 Edition):
And it came to passe in the sixe hundredth and one yeere,
in the first moneth, the first day of the moneth,
the waters were dryed vp from off the earth:
and Noah remooued the couering of the Arke,
and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was drie.
Genesis 8:13 (KJV1611 Edition):
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year,
in the first month, the first day of the month,
the waters were dried up from off the earth:
and Noah removed the covering of the ark,
and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
This 'spelling correction' corrects the 'O-N-E' mispelling
in the KJV1611 Edition with a spelling of 'F-I-R-S-T' in the
KJV1769 Edition. Or is it a grammar correction?
The proper English reading in 21st Century English (2001-2100)
and apparenly in 18th Century (1701-1800) is 'first'.
Here is a similiar reading in the Geneva Bible of 1587:

containing 'wist' in the KJV1611 Edition but 'know' in the KJV1769

The root word for 'wist' and the root word for 'know' compted
through Old English and Middle English. In Modern English,
'know' has won the competition. The language being spoken
by the translators of the KJV was Modern English: you
know the one with the alphabet:

The big one here isn't even a textual variation.
"Prefect" the noun existed in 1611 meaning
to make whole or complete. The phrase 'Make ... Perfect'
makes a verb out of the noun 'perfect'.
In 2003 there is a verb 'perfect' (pronounced different
from the verb, BTW) which means 'to make perfect' that is
without flaw.
So this prayer in Hebrews is that God will
GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED to do good works.
The prayer in Hebrews is NOT that the Lord
will make you without flaws because of your good works. -
Wisdom 7:2 (KJV1611 Edition):
And in my mothers wombe was fashioned to be flesh
in the time of tenne moneths
being compacted in blood, of the seed of man,
and the pleasure that came with sleepe.
Oh, I thought it was generally NINE months?
(the rest of the description is fairly good though) -
Maybe the writer was one of those babies who come "late."

Phi 2:12 (KJV1611 Edition):
Wherefore, my beloued, as yee haue alwayes obeyed,
not as in my presence onely, but now much more
in my absence; worke out your owne saluation
with feare, and trembling.
The meaning of 'fear' here determines your look
on salvation.
If you think wrong that
'fear' means 'scared of God', you will have
a works based salvation. BTW, if 'fear' means
'scared, then why add 'trembling' which also
means 'scared'?
If you think correclty that 'fear' means
'respect for God' then you understand that
salvation is to Good works, not by Good works
'Fear' as used in the
New Testament has the meaning of 'to respect'
NOT 'to be afraid'. Only doctrines based
upon the highest respect of the Godhead
and the three persons of the Godhead:
God the Father, God the Son (Messiah Jesus),
and God the Holy Spirit; only these doctrines
have validity.
To base one's doctrine of Security of
Salvation on being afraid of God cause He
may revoke His salvation - this is an error
in doctrine, based on a misunderstanding of
a greek term (various forms of 'phebo')
as translated in the KJV.
Caveat: Some MVs translate 'phebo' as 'fear'
some don't. However, this is NOT a
KJV versus MV problem but rather a problem
in understanding the KJV. -

accompted isn't in the Webster's 1828 Dictionary,
so I have no idea what it means or meant
The King James Version (Authorized)
Luke 21:36 (Authorized KJV1679 Edition):
Watch ye therefore, and pray always,
that ye may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of man.
Here 'ye may be accounted worthy' is a translation of the Greek term:
'kataxioo'. So you can see it take five English words to say
what the Greek says in one word.
The current meaning of 'account' is to compute or figure or
justify. So this verse really isn't talking about being worthy
to escape nor being worthy to stand before the Son of Man
(Messiah Jesus). It is talking about God considering us
worthy because all He sees is the blood of Jesus shed for
us and NOT US.
