That's 81% of White Evangelical Men.

No, the Majority of American Evangelicals Did Not Vote for Trump

    https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/...american-evangelicals-did-not-vote-for-trump/

How did American evangelicals vote in the 2016 election?

Based on polling data and news sources, you might be under the impression that an overwhelming number of evangelicals—more than 80 percent—voted for Donald Trump. But this isn’t quite accurate. There isn’t any way to truly know what percentage of evangelicals voted for our president-elect. But using a more nuanced analysis we can reasonably estimate that somewhere between 35 percent and 45 percent of all evangelicals in America voted for Trump.

Are you equating all three - the oppression of people by people?

You need to take out Socialism from that comparison. Socialism does not impoverish the poor like Capitalism, & does not impoverish the rich like Communism. In Socialism, the poor receive a fair wage, & the profits of the rich are taxed to pay for social care for all.

    Eph. 6:
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6 Obey them not only to win their favour when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.

9 And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favouritism with him.

The Black vote really skews that figure, you do realize, as while many of them would see themselves as being Evangelical in their beliefs, sad to say, just like voting for president Obama, vast majority just went and pulled the programmed Donkey lever!
Lessor extent, same thing for the christian women voters!
Based upon the agenda and policies of trump and whoever the Dems run against him, should be near 100% for all Evangelical people groups!

Socilaism does EXACTLY same thing as Coomunism does, as it makes all but the top elite poor and unable to move ahead!
You might not liek Capitalism, buts its the best system to promote opportunity and wealth being made available to all, its just that we need to have big government quit taking most of what we earn back, and need to let private companies and churches take over what Govt failed to deliver to us!

What are you saying? That blacks and women can't be Christians? Or they shouldn't be allowed to vote?

Neither, that for some strange and sad reason, the Black American who are Christian and normally vote the scriptures seem to on the whole revert back to pulling Dem lever while in the voting booth.
Based upon how Christians Black are majority conservative in theology and social agenda, they should have not voted 98% for President Obama, but good news is that seems some of them are seeing the light that undr trump unemployment rate for them losest in history, and that OK to migrate of Democratic road.

A large number of the jobs created are minimum wage jobs. With Republicans unwilling to raise the minimum wage to a reasonable level someone can work those jobs 40 hrs./week and still be poor and unable to support themselves and certainly not a family.

May you all have a blessed Lord's Day tomorrow.

We look forward to hearing the OM founder, George Verwood.

IF we have that minimum rate raised to where the socialist libs want it, the sudden fast job creation will become a really slwo trickle!
And those jobs are in the manufacturing sector, don't see many of them as being "minimum wage"

An encouraging meeting, but not really a sermon. He celebrates his 80th birthday on July 3. We've got some new books!
One of my friends in Southall was helping with the fitting out of the latest OM ship, Logos Hope.

All it needs is for the company directors to pay their staff before taken the profits. Paying staff means that that money stays in the economy, instead of being stashed away off-shore by the wealthy who have no real use for their excessive wealth.

Churches are involved in many aspects of social care, both at home & around the world.

I’ve never seen worth a darn... well maybe one or two but the rest :Thumbsdown

Now go to a Catholic Church (at least 6 in my neighborhood) and they are feeding the poor, nurseing the sick, visiting the aged, helping with the ill. A nun comes in weekly to her (my wife’s) cancer center. Never seen no Protestant or Baptist. Bunch of :Alien. To quote trump,” sad.”

Are you saying that RCs show more Christian concern than Protestants or Baptists? James said something about that.

We are to be the ones that help out the really poor and needy, as we are to feed them the Bible and physical food, not just Big Govt!

Yes, and they also are giving forth another/false gospel, so they do a good deed in feeding people, but do nothing in regards to eternal things!
