Heard coming into work this morning!
That in 2008, he made a speech saying that Satan was attacking America through higher education, which I to agree with, but also through the Protestant church?
Any know the context, or if he still holds to that?
Did Rick S REALLY say This About protestants?

It would take me too long to straighten it out for you. I suggest you find the audio clip or YouTube clip. -
I am NOT trying to say any thing bad about him, as tend to support him for president based on available choices! -
Full audio available at Ave Maria University chapel archive.

Just wait to see how main stream press and the Pres handles this! -

Yes, Santorum was attacking mainline Protestant churches and their schools. Santorum was 'preaching to the choir' at tiny ultraconservative Roman Catholic Ave Maria University, established just a few years ago by the founder of Domino's Pizza. [No, their sports teams are not the Noids, but the Gyrenes[?]]
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mainline_Protestant:
Mainline Protestant Churches
mainline churches have maintained religious doctrine that stresses social justice and personal salvation. They were leaders of the Social Gospel and were active in social causes such as civil rights, and equality for women. In addition, mainline churches and laity founded most of the leading educational institutes in the US.
