That was Freddie when we first got him.
He was still a baby and didn't have flight feathers yet so he was going to be cat food if we didn't rescue him (a cat was stalking him).
He definitely ended up bigger than that (a little bit bigger in size but WAY beefier).
FROG!!
I don't have them anymore (thank heavens!!!) but we had two African clawed frogs for a time.
DON'T EVER BUY THE GROW-A-FROG KIT!!!!!!!!!!!
They can't be released and they grow BIG - big enough to eat feeder goldfish.
I was never so happy as the days I found each one floating dead.
Aww.
Don't you know you have to work your way up to that?
Insist on something messy, like a pet rat, or something creepy, like a big python.
Keep talking about it enthusiastically and make lots of verbal plans.
Chances are, she'll take the lesser of the two evils and let you get the dog.
Preacher, this reminds me of when dh and I had been married about a year and I really wanted a parakeet.
Nothing I said or did could make him agree to it.
Like a good submissive wife, I finally told him, we're either getting a parakeet or having a baby!
We got the parakeet.
He got me back a couple years later after we got the parakeet AND had a baby. . .he got a puppy!
Oh, and the ONE time I wanted a dog and we got it, guess whose pal it was?
Oh no, not mine, not the one who fed it and petted it and put up with the fur shedding all over.
That mutt was hubby's from day one and there was nothing I could do to change it.
I'm inspired by your testimony BIG time!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope so and will count you as a prophet!!!! Please give a precise time though because I really want this english bulldog soon!!!
So does our 3 year old girl with whom I've share googled pictures of english bulldog pups and she says 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!' in a really cute 3 year old voice!!!
We both await fulfillment! As a matter of fact when I brought her home tonight she talked about our getting a puppy!
Ok that's 2 against 1.
Your wife must submit!
I wasn't allowed to have a dog when I was kid and as soon as I left home I got one.
I have had them ever since.
The two I have now will be my last.
They will probably outlive me!
