Some of the classic books on Amillennialism:
Oswald T. Allis, Prophecy and the Church, 1945
Louis Berkhof, Systematic Theology, 1941 and his book titled: The Second Coming of Christ
William Hendrikson, More Than Conquerors, 1939
George L. Murray, Millennial Studies, 1948
Martin J. Wyngaarden, The Future of the Kingdom, 1955
Geerhardus Vos, The Pauline Eschatology, 1930
Philip Mauro, The Seventy Weeks and the Great Tribulation, 1944
And anything by Anthony Hoekema
Sorry, all my books are like me,,getting old..I don't have any newer books.

I can't recommend anything that promotes amill theology. I can recommend that you not read some books:
Isaiah
Jeremiah
Ezekiel
Daniel
Matthew
Mark
Luke
1 & 2 Thessalonians
Jude
Revelation

I don't think he asked for any smart remarks. Good heavens, I can't believe anyone claiming to be a fundamentalist advising a chap not to read the bible.
-
I, too, was wondering why anyone would recommend to anyone else to NOT read some books of the Bible. BTW, preacherman3, I recommend that you read all the books listed by PTW, plus all the rest of the books of the Bible - they've just about made an amillennialist of me!

I have not read it, but there is the well-regarded "Worthy Is the Lamb" by Ray Summers of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1951).

RSR, thanks for reminding me about that book,,,Worthy is the Lamb, Ray Summers,,,,and it is sitting right there on my shelf,,a red book
Ray Summers was also a very noted Greek scholar. He wrote the book Essentials of New Testament Greek, a standard textbook in many seminaries. He was the chairman of religious studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. My edition is 1950. One would think he has a decent background to understand Amillennialism.
Cheers,

Very funny PTW  ... He's just telling you not to read the books that stress Eschatology  ... You forgot one Zachariah... Amils use those a lot... The dig is at preterist and amils... I understand PTW and his message got through loud and clearly!... Right PTW?... Brother Glen
