841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amonst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankin's judge on the last day."
Catholic Church Catechism, 2nd Ed. p. 223
Muslims deny the Trinity.
Muslims deny the diety of Christ - Jn. 17:3
Quite the contrary! It is YOU who deny the church Jesus founded by gathering "Baptist" materials prepared by John (see Lk. 1:17) with a "Baptist" gospel that demands "fruits of repentance" or regenerative fruits PRIOR to baptism (Mat. 3:6-8; Lk. 24:47).
It is you that deny the counsel of God against yourself (Lk. 7:29-30).
So does Paul - Romans 4:6-12.
Not one Catholic on this forum has dared to attempt to respond to my thread entitled "The Blessedness - Rom. 4:6-8"!
Why not if you really have the truth?
What are you afraid of?
Deal with that thread EXEGETICALLY? I dare you!
Your ignorant of the sciptures!
1. Dying infants are not in danger of damnation because damnation is "according to his works" and dying infants have no works. They are saved exactly as they were brought under condemnation "by one man's obedience"
2. There is not one explicit account of infant baptism under the New Covenant.
You can't be serious?!?
You cannot find a single solitary baptism in scripture that was not preceded by repentance and faith. You cannot find a single solitary baptism in scripture of infants.
I am quite happy to mind my own house as it were, not to criticise nor calumanate my neighbour, and leave judgement to the great Judge who sees in all mens hearts.
Is there an exact date when
Rome
Ireland
Ethiopia
India
Constanople
Russia
All changed from baptist like beliefs to catholic like beliefs simulantously independent from each other.
And what would be the reason. Since I see it as impossible since places like India were completely out of the sphere of influence
The RCC did not come into existence until the fourth century when Constantine married the state and Christendom together. That is when the idolatrous monster of the RCC began.
Before that time, Paul wrote a letter to the church at Rome. Obviously it was already in existence. Neither Peter or Paul had been there. In the last chapter he gives greetings to Aquilla and Priscilla and to the church that is in their household. There is some evidence that they were the ones that started the church in Rome, though we don't know for sure.
In Ireland, many believe that the one that we commonly call as "St. Patrick" took the gospel to that nation.
It was the Ethiopian Eunuch that took the gospel back to that part of the world. Philip led him to the Lord as he traveled back to his own nation.
Thomas was a missionary to India and landed there in 52 A.D. He did a marvelous work for the Lord in spreading the gospel, in starting churches, until he was finally martyred by a Brahmin priest in 72 A.D. who thrust a spear through him.
Constantinople is near to Ephesus. If it wasn't reached by Paul himself it would have been reached by one of the churches that Paul started.
The saved by the grace of God, both living and the dead, NOT any particular church so called here on earth, for salvation is in the name of jesus ALONE, NOT the RCC/baptist etc church!
