My home church has strong affiliations with the International Mission Board. I don't think they support a specific mission; rather they support many missions. Our former pastor spent 20 years in Brazil (I'm pretty sure that's right), and the church has supported many different missionaries over the years. We've actually got several employees of the IMB in membership.
-
Our church supports 54 different mission works. Foreign fields & Homeland missions. A lot diversity in these works. Most are supported through Mission Boards, others through churches, and a few are individual mission works.
Josh -
Our church supports missionaries sent out by local churches and we have missionaries on the foreign field and in the US that have been sent out by our church.
-
As Southern Baptists, we support over 10,000 missionaries here in America and all over the world. Beyond that,we support individual mission projects as well.

Furthermore, our congregation has many people who have served as missionaries and we routinely send several couples a year to foreign service. (Just last week, two good friends of mine left for Spain.) -

In our church, "Lottie Moon" is huge.
In addition, we sponsor a mission for the homeless in Camden and one in North Philly. -
I have the pleasure of serving at a mission church. We are a mission of South Peoria Baptist. The last church was also a mission church. We also support missions and have been supported by the NAMB. Our missions support is through the Cooperative program,IMB, and NAMB...
-
We support NAMB and IMB, plus we send out our own missionaries. We had soem youth go on a mission trip here in Ky, a team went to Mexico, and one went to Poland, I think we totaled 34 missionaries this year.
-
We support missionaries in Mongolia, Philippines, Zambia, Bolivia, Romania, Iceland, and the Arctic. These missionaries are not sent by a board, they are sent by their local churches.

Our Independent Fundamental Baptist church family supports over a hundred missionary families sent out by BIMI and other missionary organizations that I can't remember the names of. We have missionaries on the foreign field and in the US that have been sent out by our church as well.
-
We support missions within the SBC, and some locally. We are also strong supporters of The Student Baptist Union in our area.

Our church is IFB and supports missionaries sent out by local churches (including ours). We are presently sending monthly financial support (and items when needed) to over 100 missionaries on the foreign field and in the U.S.
We also send missionaries out from our own church. We have a local family in Romania right now. -
Our family helps to support missionaries through our local church.
My sister and her husband are missionaries to Africa as well. -
We support a mission in Thailand that is run by our former pastor and his wife. We also support SBC and CBF programs as well as various local mission projects and ministries.
-

Four Bible Club missionaries -
Our son Kelly and his family - Kelly is currently on an 8 day trip to Haiti - -
I know of a few churches that teach there membership to give a 10% tithe weekly, interestingly these churches themselve tithe 10% of the offering that they recieve to missions, I think that is not such a bad idea.
-
Our church is not large, but we have taken on eight missionaries to support.
3 from the Phillipines
1 Near Brisbane Australia
3 In America
1 Christian Law Association
Each month we take turns doing a bulletin board and having a "Missionary of the month" so the people can get to know the missionaries and exactly where they are and what they are doing. We read their most current letter and collect a special offering for them. It has really helped to raise support for them. -
Although we are a small chuch missions have a big emphesis placed on them in my church. We give to the following:
Emmanual Mission International
Gospel For Asia
Operation Mobilization
Rio Grande Bible Institute
Transworld Radio
Union Gospel Mission
Wycliffe Bible Translators
Besides giving money we also spend time at every prayer meeting praying for these orginization.
