Get ready to shell out more $$ for your medicine. This will hurt a lot of families. The sick are being sacrificed at the altar of mother earth.

But the switch to a greener inhaler will cost consumers more. Epinephrine inhalers are available via online retailers for around $20, whereas the alternatives, which contain the drug albuterol, range from $30 to $60.

We already have been hit because we use the albuterol. So instead of just a few dollars, it's now $50 each! There are three of us who need to have one on hand so that's $150 each year. Fortunately, we don't use them much at all but still have to have them on hand for just-in-case.

Seems the EPA is dead set on destroying our economy. The sooner Obama is gone along with his henchmen the better off we will be. Maybe some of their over regulation will be reversed.

These regulations went into place before Obama took office.

I don't know exactly when the decisions were made, but for at least a year the Primatene boxes have had a notice printed on them that the Primatene inhalers would no longer be available after 2011. So this is nothing new. And for the record, I'm also an asthmatic who carries an albuterol inhaler with him (tho since I got myself in shape 2 years ago I've hardly needed it anymore). So I don't like this whole thing either.

As an Asthmatic....

....This kind of legislation "chokes" me up!

Actually, I use my inhalers (both) and would be lost if they were no longer allowed by law.

The EPA needs to go after all the mind polluters in DC, who call themselves legislators! Once they remove all these folks and clean up the mess they've made in Washington, then they can come after my inhaler!

Golly, are you still using them!!!! I am pleased that they are being phased out, USA must be right up there with major pollution and you are dragging your heels when so many other countries have inflicted this "Earth warming " on their citizens.

Please note I am not a believer in the whole "earth warming" sham but feel pretty miffed that if my government is keen to be seen to be politically correct, I am not pleased to see a world leading power letting the rest of the world to shoulder the burden.:flower:

Good, I'm glad you live in New Zealand. Please stay away from the United States. You can keep your globalist mentality down under where it belongs.

I stand corrected. I pray that we soon get an administration that has some common sense. If Obama were smart he would lead congress to repeal this kind of regulation and ignore the treaty that hurts way more than it helps.

The EPA is out of control. Will be glad to get a real President who will reign them in.

It does when you remember "global warming" is all about wealth, specifically the transfer of U.S. wealth to places the UN will decide needs it more.
