I know my standing on Eternal Security. I'd like to hear everyone else's views. After Salvation are we saved eternally, or can we lose it?

I believe in, once in grace alway's in grace, that is to say IF YOU STAY IN HIS WILL!
Preacher Ron -
You cannot undo the work of God.
-
My salvation is 100% of God. I can't lose something that God has.
And when He gave me "everlasting" life, I take Him at His word, that's he's not going to lie about it! -
YOU DON'T THINK THAT YOU CAN WALK AWAY FROM IT?
Preacher RON -
IF God is sovereign, then I am saved for eternity. The bible says where sin is grace is greater, meaning you can't out sin God's grace. If you can loose your salvation, then grace isn't free, and God isn't sovereign.

John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. 30 I and My Father are one."

If man could obtain salvation for himself, then he could lose it himself. But as it stands, we are saved by God Himself. How can man undo an act of God?

Salvation was and is secured in Jesus Christ. Its security is not dependent upon me.

Romans 6
1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Preacher Ron -
Tonight, I have to go to work - 3rd shift. Tomorrow night is my off from work, I will post to discuss on salvation issue from the verses.
In Christ
Rev. 22:20 - Amen! -
Ron,
If you are going to quote scripture then quote more than two verses, there is a such thing as context. -

Isaiah 53 does the same thing to me too -
Romans 6
1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Preacher Ron </font>[/QUOTE]So you think grace isn't bigger then our sin? We can out sin God's grace? I never said we are to keep on sinning, you seem to be assuming that.
Maybe you should read this
Ro.5:
20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. -
Let me ask this then, lets just say if I went back out in the world, and started living just anyway that I wanted to, doing the thangs that the world does, do you think that I would still be saved, and go to heaven ?
I sure don't think so, I don't only think, I know that I wouldn't !
Preacher Ron -
Ron, what you and I think doesn't matter. JESUS told us that no one can pull us from the hand of God!
I'll take HIS word for it!

Well said Donna!
1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
