What a morally bankrupt bunch of losers.

We fret over such silly things, then give kids meds to kill babies.

Disgusting.

The government once again believes it can raise our children better than we can...

Not only that, it's another way to kill babies, abort them before they get comfy in utero. But what would we expect from a baby butcher's administration? And after all abortion options and funding of abortions with our tax dollars are on the table without any Congressional hearings of any sort, who's next? The mentally and physically challenged? Old people? Sick people? It will be heart breaking again to see what group of defenseless people Czar Obama targets to be murdered next. :tear:

Hey libbies, you all proud of your president now?
of course they are, he can do no wrong, all they have to do is adjust their thinking to fit his.

On topic now,, there are serious problems with this and if christians can't see this theres a serious problem with them, yet they will still support a man who does ths as president.

Regardless of what the government allows or doesn't allow, an underage child living at home should not be taking anything such as this without the permission of a parent or a guardian. Just because the government allows something doesn't dismiss a parent or guardian from fulfilling his/her obligation to a minor child.

If a parent or guardian can't prevent a minor child from doing something they do not approve of then that's a parental/guardian control problem, not a government problem.

I agree with you in theory Ken, but making it harder for kids to get stuff isn't a bad thing. Parents should certainly be ultimately responsible for rearing their children and should do everything in their power to limit what their children can take as far as medication, drugs, alcohol, and these murder pills. But a little help keeping this stuff out of kids hands can't hurt either.

Would you be ok with removing age restrictions on alcohol and tobacco products? It's the parents responsibility, right?

How about removing the age restriction on driving a car? As long as the parents think it is ok for the kids to drive, we should let them right?

You know, I wish I lived back in the time of Little House on the Prairie. Then all these age restrictions weren't needed. The guy at the store knew you and your family. He was going to help you out and tell you when you kids tried to do something stupid. The kids probably wouldn't try and buy alcohol at his store anyway since the kids know the the store owner knows mom and dad. Ahh, the simplier life :). Of course, they wouldn't have fathomed this murder pill either.

If a parent's consent is not required, then what do you suggest.....

How many of your congregations have a "help pregnant teenager" fund" Mine doesn't. Churches that don't put their money where their mouth is must tacitly expect the girl to go on welfare for the next 18 years. You are all anti-welfare except when it comes to assisting unmarried pregnant women?

1) Yes, I would.

2) Not for any driving on public roads.

So the only options are to either kill the child, or support the child for 18 years?

You are aware there is a middle ground...right?

It still comes down to parental control. I don't think it is up to the government do handle this. Parents should not feel that they are dismissed from supervising their child based what the the government allows or doesn't allow.

So...we should allow the 17 year-old's parents to decide whether or not to kill their grandchildren?

As long as abortion is legal, unfortunately, we have no way to stop such a decision, except through prayer, of course.

My church has a "help a teenager not get pregnant fund". It's called preaching against sin and preaching the Gospel.

Now, unless you have something valuable to contribute (which you don't), take yourself and your off topic posts out of here.
