Jedi, you are missing the whole point. Praising God, in the context of breaking a reasonable rule, does not make this guy immune to a penalty. There's no persecution here. And, the last time I checked the cheerleaders don't go running into the end zone nor onto the field everytime some yoyo makes a great play.

In a broader context, I think some Christians have forgotten that we are told to love and serve God; however, God has not promised that in so doing we would not be persecuted. I think some Christians think that they should not have to suffer persecution for serving God. -
