I'm convinced that is all a subterfuge of the world's intelligence agencies. They're hoping to convince the terrorists they don't know what happened to the plane.

The intelligence community, particularly the U.S. intelligence community, knows a lot more than they're telling. They're the ones putting out stories about "pilot suicide" and pointing a false finger at the senior pilot who was nothing more than a flying nerd who built his own flight simulator and posted videos of it on you.tube. It's the co-pilot who has the fanatical beliefs, who said, "Good night" to air traffic controllers in Malaysia when the transponders were already cut off. There is no "southern route," there was no "pilot suicide" and the plane is intact, on the ground in a terrorist-supporting country, or perhaps a remote island in the Indian Ocean.

So you're saying that the either/or northern arc/southern arc derived from satellite pings is sheer "subterfuge"?

Vectors cannot be determined from the satellite data. They can make guesstimates as to distance from the satellites, but they can't actually determine vectors. Inmarsat, a satellite monitoring firm, told the New York Times Saturday their information could help provide location info on the missing jet, but they're lying through their teeth.

The data received by the satellites is nothing more than an "I'm here" response to a query, and tells the computers on the ground nothing about the origination point of the signal. By analyzing the time it took the signal to return after the query, it can be determined how far the plane was from the satellite, but nothing about direction. They can draw a big circle with the satellite at it's center, guesstimate altitude and claim to know something about location, but in reality such information is worthless.

This is the kind of disinformation that the international intelligence agencies circulate at times like this. They've done it countless times before, it's just that there has never been this big a story before. Couple this with the national security warning a few weeks ago about shoe bombs or toothpaste being potential weapons for taking over an aircraft, the sketchy plot publicized in January to steal an aircraft of this general type, and you've got the makings of a huge disinformation campaign foisted off on the public in an attempt to mislead to terrorists into thinking the intelligence agencies don't know as much as they actually do about the plane's direction after "going black."

Veiled? I wasn't trying to hide anything.

Tell me why Iran would need to steal this plane. For whatever purpose.

No, but you are playing ignorant.

How far is Israel from Iran?

How many times has Iran vowed that Israel will be "wiped from the face of the Earth?"

How much jet fuel does a 777 hold, and what would a jet full of fuel do to the Knesset?

How likely is it Iran has a nuke that could be detonated over Tel Aviv?

I'm not saying any of that is what is going to happen, but to answer you question ... I know you're not that stupid.

Nah, you're just doing your usual fear all Islam propaganda routine. Iran has absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose by taking part in something like you're conjuring.

    List of airlines of Iran

If they needed a plane to repurpose for a long range cruise missile they've got their own planes to choose from. I've read somewhere they have several retired 747s sitting around that could be refurbished into a missile.

You're just doing your usual hate the Muslim fear mongering.

You haven't a clue what I think about "all Islam." The only ones to fear are the terrorists.

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... yadda, yadda yadda ... clueless drivel.

So, all this is just one big ruse to fool the terrorists? And all this is just phoney baloney info fed to the world?:

US Investigators Believe Missing Malaysia Plane Is West Of Australia In Indian Ocean

"U.S. investigators think the missing Malaysia Airlines plane most likely flew southwest over the Indian Ocean off Western Australia, Bloomberg reports citing two officials.

Satellite data showed that the plane likely flew either on that route or northwest toward Kazakhstan. The latter seems less likely since the plane would have flown through the airspace of multiple countries.

Experts agree that there’s a good chance MH370 will never be found if it’s gone into a deep and remote part of the Indian Ocean.

Australia today took charge of the search in the Indian Ocean.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott told parliament Australia would coordinate operations in the vast search area to its west....."

All just a big concoction to keep those terrorists fooled. Incredible. Now, why?

    He's already answered this:

Perhaps they are tracking these terrorists and want to find out who is controlling them. Perhaps they want to find the guy these terrorists report to. Just a thought.

Why hasn't a jihad terrorist organization stepped forward and taken credit for this?

A well funded organization could buy a fixer upper clunker to repurpose into a missile; no need to attract all this attention and get all those other countries after you, especially China.

Thanks for the efforts, ITL, but they're a waste of time. He has issues.

Yea, when it comes to swallowing irrational conspiracy theories like you're proposing, I've got issues.

Terrorists would have hijacked the plane and used it immediately on a target when it had a full tank of fuel.

To do what you are conjuring up would require the assistance and/or complicity of more than one government.

Yea and, by all means tell us which countries are in on this d-CON. Which Muslim country needs to steal a plane like this in order to make a missile?

A plane with almost 300 people has gone missing for 10 days now. No one can find it. Isn't that the very definition of terror?

Why does there need to be a plane with bombs involved, or retrofitting a plane to effectively become a missile?
