The word you failed to spell correctly is 'rationale.'
The vast majority of people being hospitalized are the vaxxed.

What is the ratio of those receiving the anti-body treatment, un-vaccinated to vaccinated? Is it not true the vast majority of those receiving the anti-body treatment are unvaccinated? Hint, one clinic reported about 70% of those receiving the anti-body were unvaccinated!!!

Is that supposed to be a question about the OP, that is, the situation in Florida?

And how does a sample of one clinic translate to all of the clinics? Hint: It doesn't.

However, point well taken. The fearmongering may be driving the decisions of those getting vaxxed even more than of the unvaxxed.

Nonsense - which Democrats support forced vaccinations?

    Yes, it is.

At my manufacturing plant we've had many cases of people who were vaccinated getting sick, and some unvaccinated.
We've had a very serious case with one man in his late 60's who was not vaccinated, and a moderately concerning case in an older lady in her early 70's that was.
He is still out of work recuperating ( not sure how long he's been off...perhaps 4-6 weeks ), and she is starting her 4th week off today.

We've had one death that occurred to a man in his mid-60's that had had CovID-19 and was also vaccinated, can't be sure which happened first.
He passed away about a month ago.

As a matter of public record, the recent breakout of "delta" in Barnstable County, Massachusetts early this summer,
consisted of some 74% of people who were already fully vaccinated.

"Delta" ( and the other variants ) doesn't care...people are coming down with it on both sides of the track, vaccine or no vaccine.

    My advice?
Look to the Lord for your salvation in this life, and not a vaccine. ;)

Misleading. The vaccine both reduces both the risk of infection and, more importantly, the risk of serious illness and death.

I respect your opinion, but don't share it.

I've seen both vaccinated and unvaccinated get sick, two in my own department are still out recuperating and they were both vaccinated.
I've never been vaccinated and never come down with it ( unless I had it early on and didn't realize it ).
Similar to the unvaccinated, age and condition of one's health seems, more than anything, to play the largest part in who gets seriously sick from it and who does not.

To me, vaccination status means nothing if it doesn't prevent an illness.

    Best wishes to you, sir.

    Not an opinion - facts.

Anecdotal - not relevant to an accurate assessment of vaccine effectiveness.

    Same.

False - the evidence clearly shows the vaccinated do much better.

Not sure what you are saying. While the Covid vaccine is not all that effective in preventing infection, it is very effective in preventing what really matters - serious illness and death.

Exactly. The flu obviously has not disappeared (there have been a lot of influenza cases and deaths). But, as expected with lower and safer interactions, there has been a decrease in flu cases.

You provided no evidence to the contrary.

The test can now differentiate. The test my doctor uses tests for Covid, Flu A, and Flu B.
He told me he has seen some tests negative for Covid and positive for Flu.

False - there never was a covid test that could not discriminate between the flu and covid.

You provided no bona fide evidence on which to base a conclusion or even an argument. An unknown or unstated sample of one is not evidence.

However, I have no evidence contrary to the point that the fearmongering may be driving the decisions of those getting vaxxed even more than of the unvaxxed.

To ignore the anecdotal evidence and imply the opposite without contrary evidence seems odd...

What is the ratio of those receiving the anti-body treatment, un-vaccinated to vaccinated? Is it not true the vast majority of those receiving the anti-body treatment are unvaccinated? Hint, one clinic reported about 70% of those receiving the anti-body were unvaccinated!!!

The most vaxxed state in the Union is Vermont. The "fully vaccinated" stands at 71.30%. But there was a 34.07% increase in COVID cases last week.
