Over half makes it a pandemic of the vaccinated.
It always was a pandemic of the unvaccinated, now it is becoming both.
As the months and years go by, it will be more and more.

They wont let covid stop being a pandemic, it is too good of a crisis to go to waste for the great reset of the WEF.

The state is at record level for COVID-19, but not every area," Senior said. Current hot spots are in Jacksonville, Orlando and around Hollywood. "We're seeing surges from people not vaccinated."

About 92% of inpatients are unvaccinated and 8% are vaccinated. Children ages 18 and under represent between 1% and 2% of inpatients.

8% is not over 50% (and you can't have a pandemic in Florida...the "pan" part).

Of the 66 new COVID patients, 54 (81.81%) had not been vaccinated. (As of 17 Sep)

My understanding of the OP article, all of which I cannot see without creating an account at Epoch Times, is not particularly about half of the covid cases being among the vaccinated, but that half of the people actively seeking monoclonal antibody treatment in this particular area (however narrow or broad it is) have been vaccinated.
This is apparently in response to news that the Biden administration intends to impose new limits on orders for the antibody infusions.

Here is the article from a different source (I also don't subscribe to Epoch times....too much unsolicited emails as it is).

Whether this is political or a sincere attempt to equally & fairly distribute the monoclonal antibodies throughout the states, never underestimate the ability of the federal government to slow down and muck up any process.
Biden administration moves to stave off shortages of monoclonal antibodies

The point is they are seeking life saving treatments....meaning if they dont get that, they may die, even though vaxxed, over half of the hospitalized patients.

I go by what common logical sense reasoning leads a person to comprehend, not some manipulated word salad.

This covid pandemic is not going away if the vaxxed are in dire straights. or maybe it is going to become more like the FLU which before covid did kill up to 60,000 people a year, and seems to have disappeared off their radar.

the flu has disappeared because the test cannot differentiate between covid and the flu. People with just the flu are being diagnosed as having covid. If that were not true then flu cases would remain the same.

Yes, Scott, I understand the point you are making. I am just making an additional point that slowing down the distribution of a possible life-saving treatment, for whatever reason, is not a good thing. Bureaucracy almost always slows things down rather than speeding them up.

I am for you getting the vaccine if you want it, and for you not getting the vaccine if you don't want it. I am opposed to government mandated vaccinations. (I also have objections to the use of lines from aborted fetal cell lines in the research & development of the vaccines, but leave it up to conscience of each Christian whether they feel OK with that.) And just for good measure, Jesus Christ is our Saviour, not Pfizer (et al.).

of course agree, the people who want to be vaxxed get vaxxed. Nothing should be coerced and forced when it comes to medical procedures.

Dems like to say my body my choice, don't they. Really then, they are exposed as hypocrites.

Sorry, Brother, I edited a bit while you were quoting and posting, apparently. Don't think it changes anything much, other than I wanted to clarify one thing.

Not a problem, I often hit post reply, then think of something else to say or fix some egregious spelling error.

    This is false information.

The fake news you speak of came about by misquoting the newer test that detects both vovid and the flu (the CDC recommended using it as flu season approached). The other tests identified covid but not the flu.

This fake news was proven nothing but misinformation and propaganda months ago.

CDC test can’t differentiate between COVID and the flu? That’s wrong. - Poynter

That said, cases of the flu have dropped. There still have been infections and deaths from the flu but due to people taking covid precautions influenza has declined.

Here is a chart showing by month flu cases for the past year:

What is interesting is they pull the covid test, start a propaganda explosion denying that the reason it was pulled was because it was giving false positives due to not being able to differentiate between covid and the flu but the the newly released version can apparently do just that.

    huh…..who’da thunk:Rolleyes

I think the swabs should be tested, instead of the people.

What is more interesting g is this is absolutely false.....fake news.

The covid test checked for covid (influenza did not produce a false positive). The CDC wanted a test that checked for both - that would tell if you had covid or the flu.

Your post is false, @Revmitchell . Perhaps you have been relying a little too much on Facebook for your news :Laugh

PCR test recall: Can PCR tests tell the difference between COVID-19 and the flu?

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said that the Biden administration’s change to the distribution of monoclonal antibodies “could be that they think there are more deplorable people in Florida, more Republicans or more of the unvaccinated unwashed.” And that under socialized medicine, “decisions will be made for political reasons.”

Paul said, [relevant remarks begin around 3:45] “Realize this is the difference between socialized medicine and capitalism. Under capitalism, when there’s increased demand, and Florida has increased demand right now, you increase the supply. Supply matches demand in capitalism. In socialism, you have political reasons. So, it could be that they think there are more deplorable people in Florida, more Republicans or more of the unvaccinated unwashed. And so, decisions will be made for political reasons. But if this were capitalism and this were going out into the marketplace, the companies would be ramping up production and it would be distributed where it’s needed.”
