Has anyone had a foreign student live in their home for a semester or more?

Not for a semester - it's all I can do to keep my own family sane. LOL But we've had Chinese graduate students stay with us for Thanksgiving. It was so fun as they took pictures of the turkey, gravy, stuffing, the table, etc. They had never had any of this food! It was fun teaching them American traditions and American foods.

No, I have not. Don't plan on it either. But, kudos to those who do.

What does this have to do with politics?

I sense there is an underlying reason for the question. Such as if you haven't been exposed to foreign students then you are out of touch and unable to understand the larger world that we live in. But, I could be wrong.

Haven't, haven't had any truck drivers, bakers or candle stick makers either, nor illegal aliens, nor aliens nor blacks, nor whites nor anyone else of late - so what? Ifen ya got a point either comb your hair over it or make it

I have never had the opportunity to host a foreign exchange student. I have hosted several pastors and missionaries from around the world. I have also travelled extensively...

Have you ever had a Conservative in your house? -
We have a foreign born non-American in our White House, does that count?
-
Yes, we had a girl from Finland come live with us for a summer. I will NEVER, EVER have a foreign exchange brat in my home again! If you think American teenagers have problems, it's nothing compared to the teens from completely godless foreign countries.

I haven't but my cousin has. He's had three foreign exchange students from time to time. Each was polite and pleasant.

I answered this assuming no liberal agenda attached.
