Hey Barnabas,
I put all the ingredients (flour, water, molasses, honey, powdered milk, yeast, salt, and sugar) in the bread machine. Turn it on Dough setting and 1 1/2 hours later take it out, knead it and divide it into rolls. Let rise, and bake. Delicious! If you want the specific recipe I'll give it to you!
We love to have people over on Sundays for dinner and especially love having Missionaries come.
Four days, and no one visited me

Here goes!
Hawaiian Bread Rolls
1 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 egg (room temperature)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon honey
5 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons dry milk powder
2 tablespoons butter
4 1/2 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Put all ingredients in bread pan of bread machine wet ingredients first. Select dough cycle. Press start. Check dough to see if it is a bit sticky and if so add a little bit more bread flour as it mixes.
When cycle is complete, turn the risen dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead about 2 minutes to release air from dough. Divide dough into rounds. 16 for bigger rolls, 32 for smaller rolls. (I do 32) Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Cover with damp cloth and let rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Take out when lightly browned.
Delicious! -
Thank you Rebaros! I have saved the recipe on my hard-drive, and gave a print out to my wife. She said, "Hum, we have to try this!" So, I hope she means what she says, and soon.

You are very welcome Brother! I sent you a PM. How long does it take to go through anyway? Just wondering.
God Bless,
Becky -
I have received the PM and also answered it. The PM usually takes about 3 minutes to reach (at least that is how long it takes for me when I see a blinking envelope sign on my BB page, I usually have to wait about 3 minutes before the email notice pops into my Outlook Express Inbox - indicating that I have a BB message).

OK, I'll join in here, too.
We had a beautiful day today - 63 degrees, shorts weather for us in the Pacific Northwest.
I'm looking forward to the weekend, though - oh yeah, it's already started
Where have I been??
So , how are you all? -
My mouth is burning.
-
So, Purple Lady, you call 63 degrees shorts weather?! Then we must had the same today, as the temperatures here flurted with 66. But, the good weather was short lived, for at night it will plumet back to 45. :(

Good Morning!
I don't really have anything to say (all right; who is going to be the first to say, "and what's new?")
I just saw that no one had posted in two days and thought I'd pop in and say, "Hey!".
Blessings,
Sue -

It's cloudy and dreary here, and I'm struggling with feeling a little blue. :(
I know,I know,I should count my blessings,right? There are a lot of them. -
Just thought I'ld add my two cents worth to this conversation! -
Yes, Cindy, we can all count our blessings. That reminds me that a friend sent me an email recently just about that. If I find it in my archives, I'll post it in the appropriate forum.
Rebaros, that was real funny! May I have your permission to quote you on the funny thread? BTW, you have a couple of nice Ponderings in the "Praise & Inspiration Forum." Thanks for posting them. -
Cindy, I have found the email I was referring to in the above post. Each paragraph was sandwiched into an appropriate picture a graphic art. I only copy here the text.
You Are So Blessed
If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.
If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.
If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.
If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.
If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.
You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know! -
Hey Brother Barnabas, You sure can quote me. I can't take the credit though cause someone else told that to me a long time ago.
-
Cindy, Jim just spent 5 days in Aurora and the weather bugged him too.... and the weather never bothers Jim!
Of course he came home to tornados and horrible storms!
