I don't know why, this is not the first time I have helped him out on his tread. Oh well I think at some point he will take people off of ignore. He likes the attention to much
If this works like other boards I'm on, it shows a post but the text is hidden and you can click on it to read the post.
I have two people on ignore on another board and there are times I want to see what they said (it has nothing to do with the reason why I put them on ignore so I am fine reading their posts in that thread) and it's quick and easy to do.
No need to remove them from your list.
Just heard it again. A caller asks about the evangelism methods of Chick Tracts and RC commends the element of fear that they use and the reality of Hell and then talks about Jonathan Edwards and his hell scare tactics. Yes Jack Chick tracts use plenty of Hell scare tactics.
These young women going to an abortion clinic are scared, confused, and likely pressured into going there and you think scaring them about Hell with a cartoon tract is the best way to reach these people. Please reconsider.
I'm still trying to figure out how he thinks he is going to give them the tracks and still follow the law. He cannot legally come within 8 feet of any one going in or out of the building.
blessedwife318, it does appear to me that the more vocal any of us becomes the more it drives people away.
Just consider Westbrook Baptist and their antics.
I'd sit down the street a bit with signage advocating alternatives.
Then, you let the Lord deal with those otherwise seeking an abortion.
I do like some of the Chic tracts - some I do not like.
The point I was making is that I agree with the others that passing out certain tracks at an abortion clinic is either the time nor the place to do so.
You might as well as go to random funeral homes and passing out Bible tracks which say you might be going to Hell.
