It's not just knowing 4 of them, but that they were all in the same school. It sounds quite suspicious, worthy of a serious investigation.

I don't know 4 of them. 4 were in the school system where my wife works. I think she only knew one (the special needs child) personally. I didn't know any of them.

2 (a 4th grader and a 10 grader) died on the same day. I'm sure you find that hard to believe as well (two students from the same area dying of covid on the same day).

    But it is true nonetheless.

    @Two Wings ,

This is not the same topic but showes hard to believe stuff -

When I moved to Germany I saw an older man sitting on a bench in a small German town. I thought he looked like Mr. Suppler (a man I knew from D. C.). Turns out it was. His wife was from that town and he went there once a year.

I went to McDonald's in Columbia TN and heard "Hey, SFC Caldwell" from a soldier in my platoon when I was stationed in Germany 12 years before. He was from Michigan but married a woman from Nashville and moved to Columbia when he got out.

Things being hard to believe probably reflect more on the person having the difficulty than events themselves.

No retirement account, low-rent housing, driving old cars and my kids not getting ponies for Christmas.

Now, back to my question. How do you think that working to deliver the poor and needy from their oppressors and persecutors is a violation of the principles in the SOTM?

Where did I suggest that? Are you wanting to smear me for some unholy reason?

Do you have any examples of God's miraculous providence in living the Sermon? Did you ever give up a career to follow Jesus? Etc...

Of course, but that's beside the point. Are you going to answer the question or do you just want compare the size of our devotions?

It sounds as though you were on public assistance. I never needed it. God always provided for me above the poverty level in miraculous ways.

Never. I eat my bread by the sweat of my brow. Glad you get to ascend on a bed of ease.

Now back to the question please.

This is the normal lot of all Christians. If you do not experience this almost daily, you are on the wrong page. BTW, He says He dresses us better than the flowers of the field. This was my experience in living the Sermon, still is even though I'm retired.

Again, God provided work, but I never missed a day, even though I had a couple of recessions and job closings.

If you think it is important, state the question clearly to help identify it. I will do my best to answer.

I forget English is not your primary language.

    Definition of unbelievable
of such a superlative degree as to be hard to believe

the destruction was unbelievablemade an unbelievable catch in center field

    Dictionary by Merriam-Webster: America's most-trusted online dictionary

I hope that addresses your concern as well, @Two Wings . I used a synonym for "hard to believe". I was not altering the meaning, but also was not quoting you.

i tried to stipulate my suspicion isnt due of you JonC. So perhaps consider the presumptive pejorative isnt really appropriate.

I said it was hard to believe and I substantiated WHY.

thanks for clarifying you do not know them personally but that isn't as relevant as 4 in the same place in near simultaneous time (within 2 years)

I don't doubt the deaths nor the suffering of those they left behind. I question the accounting which is reasonable due to recent history in cases as well as death attribution.

They died of covid-19 disease. What happened with 3 is they contracted covid and ended up having a difficult time breathing. They died in the hospital. The one my wife knew personally contracted covid, had a difficult time breathing, and died at home in bed that night. She was special needs and in a wheelchair (she could have had preexisting conditions).

I also need to add by children I was not limiting this to age 11. I know one was 14. (I'm not sure how the numbers are counted for kids).

You do not understand that "unbelievable" and "hard to believe" are synonymous.

I get it. You probably think dictionaries are government conspiracies to enslave people with word meanings.
