Christian Group Slams Obama's Salute to Gay Dads
The Associated Press reports that President Obama's salute on Father's Day is still drawing criticism from traditional marriage and family groups. During his proclamation, the president said, "Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step father, a grandfather, or caring guardian." White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton said the president was just being "inclusive." American Family Association president Tim Wildmon saw the mention differently. "This is the first time in our nation's history that a president has used Father's Day as an excuse to promote the radical homosexual agenda and completely redefine the word 'family,'" he said.

I don't see the need for calling the president names, but aside from that...
If President Obama does not have an agenda he was foolish to make the statement. It evidences his agenda.
He could have said the same thing without any list of examples at all. -

Unless, of course, his 'advisors' recognise that he can't make the religious right any angrier, so why not say it. -

Do unto others as ye would have them do to you. i.e. Wish for others what you would wish for yourself. -
And let me add, I will take your rebuke under serious consideration. Only, allow me to admonish you in that while I do desire with all my hear the Barak Obama would repent and believe in Christ Jesus, and by His grace become a true Christian, to wish to God that He remove a wicked and ungodly king is not opposed to wishing for his conversion. And this prayer and desire of mine is what I would indeed wish for myself should I be exalted to a position of authority, but morally disqualifed from it. -

Than he had the 'audacity' to apologize on yours and my behalf.
Not that I advocate the use of names when referring to Obama, I'd have to say, that in the eyes and hearts of many Americans, Obama cast forth the first word, and he made it 'open-season' for retaliation by those in this nation who do not like him.
As for me, because he favors not only abortion, but, late term abortion, after the baby is out of the body, I can, with good conscious call Obama a "babykiller !!!" Bush was a babykiller, so was Clinton, and many before them. :tear:
Our Presidents are responsible for the genocide of more innocent babies than Hitler was guilty and responsible for Jews !!!
So, I can call him a name, because in fairness to him, that is what he is because that is his freedom of choice !!!
The blood of millions of innocent babies, all around the world, is currently on his hands because it's going on during his watch !!! :flower::tear:
Shalom,
Pastor Paul :type: -

I took his words to mean that he wished that the Lord would remove Obama from office - not that the Lord would remove him from this life.
Perhaps you would do well to do unto others what you wish for yourself - which is to be given the benefit of the doubt. -

It is not likely that you actually believed this about his post. But it is more likely that your emotions got the best of you because you did not like it and you worked to try to gain support against his post by stirring up a false interpretation. You are guilty of being a false witness.
