False teaching alert... at 4 minutes 50 seconds.. .she declares the NIV takes verses away, when in fact the KJV added... funny, the same scripture that condemns taking away, also condemns adding... But she seems to ignore this.

OK, enough is enough... At 9 minutes and 50 seconds she starts promoting the Bible code-mumbo jumbo in which she says that names of 19th century men were hidden in the Hebrew texts... and she wonders if when people start omitting verses, they are removing their names accidently from the book of Life....
Sure sounds like she doesn't believe in the security of the believer.
I have to admit this is the first time I have ever seen a video of her teaching, I have read some of her pamphlets, but have never seen her.
But I refuse to listen to anymore of her garbage, and her insulting God's word.
She shows her ignorance, and anyone that would support her is willingly ignorant... -

Personally, I don't think that the curse in Rev. 22 applies to any translation or even to any text of the originals. I believe it applies to the truths of the Word of God. Otherwise we would have to figure out exactly which text, Greek or English or otherwise, is exactly like the originals, and no one can do that. Stephanus TR or Erasmus? UBS Greek 3rd ed. or 4th ed. or W&H Greek text? 1611 KJV or a later one? British KJV or American one?
Or think about this. I translate a verse into Japanese for my rough draft but miss a phrase or word, something that happens a lot more than I wish. Either "Uncle Miya" (my Japanese linguist and editor) or my son (fluent in Greek and Japanese) then catches my blunder and we correct it. Was I then cursed because I failed to translate a two word phrase? -

Yep, three months ago I said that is where the whole
Bible based, word-for-word, letter-for-letter movement
was going. -
JoJ, I agree with you, but I'll take it a step further I actually think when John wrote it, he meant it to apply to only the book he just finished writing... Revelation...
He had no idea that his book was going to be the last book of the Bible.
Of course since God inspired him to write it, it could apply to the truths also, as you said. -

It's kind of like drinking cyanide. There is a definite limit on how much one can ingest at one time, without it becoming fatal!

Those who defend Ms Riplinger are within their rights. She is probably very knowledgeable. But appreciate those who objectively critique her latest efforts and show the blatant errors, lest folks be duped into thinking she is biblical or that her position is valid.
Remember, deal with the ISSUE (the video, texts, and yes, even her "education" - those are cognate topics that DO matter) and not the woman. -

I firmly believe the harmony of the KJB outweighs all the other versions, or is that some seem to believe God is in disharmony with His Word? -
