Gasoline Prices

Some neat symmetry here as today's prices are exactly double what they were when Obama took office! (And you were expecting me to post some good economic news? Gotcha. LOL!)

 

The media never seem to mention gasoline prices anymore. During the Bush years, they tracked them daily. There is lots of oil on government land out West but Obama does not want to drill on government land because he wants electric cars (but not for himself).

 

Actually there is a ton of drilling going on on private land out here. In fact we are in a major economic boom here in my town. If you can't find a job here you are just not looking for one.

 

They're going to anyone who understands the job description "roughneck." :laugh:

 

That's good news, but prices would be cut in half if federal land were available and the recession would be over.

 

We would need to restore the coal industry as well.

 

What George W. woulda done!

He would have released oil from our national reserves to allow the prices to go down enough for Americans to enjoy the roads on the Fourth.

Does anyone remember the last time Obama released oil from our reserves to lower the prices?

 

In order to do that .....

.... we need to get BHO out of the WH and DC, and I don't mean for him to take another fund raising trip! I mean permanently! :wavey:

 

I suppose we need to take care of the Vice President at the same time.

How would you propose getting them out before 2017?

 

One thing, and I have no idea how to implement it, would be for the folks in this country to WAKE UP and en-masse to reject the agenda of this administration loudly, publicly, and continuously.

Also, the conservative powers, such as they are, should confront the president and end(?) his excessive use of "pen & telephone".

Now, what to do about the Chicago techniques; open to suggestions!

Lacking the above, we're doomed.

ETA This is not to GET THEM OUT OF OFFICE, but to minimize the effects of being in office. :thumbsup:

Here is what is going to happen. Obama will resign and change his name to Barry Soweto and return to his Indonesian homeland as an Islamic scholar and cleric.

Biden will become a monk and move to Dubrovnik, Croatia.

any action to remove Biden leaves us Biden, and that is probably as bas or wrse than BHO.

I'll guess I'll continue to ay $4.33 a gallon to drive!
