I was just wondering what colleges in the Independent Fundamental Baptist movement would somebody recommend and why. I may go back to college one of these days to get my last semester, so I was just curious.

You should come to our part of the country. We have four IFB colleges and one IFB seminary within a 300 mile radius:  Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, Owatonna, MN; Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Plymouth, MN; Northland Baptist Bible College, Dunbar, WI; and Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Watertown, WI. They are all fine fundamental Baptist schools. Pillsbusy is accredited with AABC and Marantha with North Central. If you do not want that, Northland is not accredited.
The real test is whether you can stand the weather!! -

International Baptist College, a ministry of Tri-City Baptist Church, Tempe AZ.
-
Luther Rice Seminary has an excellent corespondence course. I am sure you could finish without having ever left your home.
-
West Coast Baptist College
a ministry of Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster California.
Why? The instructors are awesome. And that's not all...check it out.

Wisdom seeker,
We now have about six students there from our church. They absolutley rave about the college. Are you close by? -
I'm a member of L.B.C. it's my home church of which I am an active member. I live about a half hour away.
P.M. me the names of the students...maybe I've met them. I'm not active with the college, but have worked with some of the students in other ministries.

It is a small college but it is Independant and Fundamental Baptist. PM me if you want further info. -
There is a small Fundy Baptist College in Arizona, it's called International Baptist College. I've met someone that when there and it seems to be pretty solid in its doctrine and foundation.

Golden State Baptist College is a great college. I go there. You learn so much from Pastor Trieber. Pastor Trieber has helped started many churches and colleges all over the nation.

I like Baptist Bible College, in Springfield, Mo.
(Not just because I am an Alumnus) It is accredited, Student body close to 1000. A small graduate school too.
Luther Rice that someone mentioned has a good correspondence, and I believe also an internet correspondence course. They are one of the pioneers in "Distance Education"
There is also Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City. Not accredited.
Send for catalogs, they are fun to look at, and give you a lot of help in decision making.

I am not IFB, but you might feel comfortable at Pensacola Christian in Florida.
-
Right now, Pensacola is the only one I feel comfortable in suggesting though it will be like being in a Marine boot camp.
Pillsbury has long been noted by many to be a 5-point school so you may want to look into things like that before you decide.
