Three members of a U.S. security team in Libya during the Sept. 11, 2012 terror attack on the the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi say they were held back from immediately responding by a top CIA officer. The men were operating out of a secret CIA annex.
In an interview ahead of the release of a new book “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi,” security contractors Kris Paronto, Mark Geist, and John Tiegen spoke publicly about the attack with Fox News. Four diplomats were killed that night, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stephens.
Mr. Paronto said the team was ready to move to the compound within five minutes of hearing news of the attack just after 9:30 p.m., but were held back by the top CIA officer, whom they only refer to as “Bob.”
While G. Bush was president 6o people were killed in American embassies. Where was your rage then. Americans were killed at the embassy in Karachi in 2002 and again in 2006 ... twice. What was Bush's problem in protecting American lives?
What? All I did was post an article about them men on the ground at the complex who actually fought the terrorists and said they were told to stand down. Can you refute their testimony? Or are you just going to continue to ignore the facts I presented and attack me because of your personal hatred.
Were you outraged at Bush when people, at least 60, were killed at American embassies during his time as president ... remember it happened twice at one embassy during his term in office.
Crabby and I have been posting together for years. I have had to endure his misdirection all this time. This is what he defaults too when he cannot refute my points. He thinks his comparison is a legitimate one. The fact is the two events are not equal in nature. However, he makes an attempt to make it so that way he feels he can show me as being inconsistent and he doesn't have to deal with the facts I presented that he has no response too.
The fact that he spun this report as good news for the democrats, and declared anyone who disagreed with him only did so out of hatred for Obama, then everyone can safely assume he will not be willing to discuss this honestly, or objectively, and certainly not rationally.
It turns out that this report just dealt with intelligence reports before the attack and nothing else.
It did not discuss Hillary's total failure because she was not part of the intelligence community for obvious reasons.
There are also a number of possible witnesses that have never been questioned.
Right?
Weren't a lot of them threatened with prosecution if they testified?
Not by a long shot, says Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
When he was asked on Sunday morning about the Friday report from the Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee that cleared Obama administration appointees of wrongdoing regarding the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, Graham didn’t mince his words.
“I think the report’s full of crxp,” he told CNN guest host Gloria Borger.
Once again, while I read the report before you posted this OP .... let me caution - CAUTION - you that this is not the FINAL report nor the final investigation! No, this doesn't make me angry, so I may not be an official enough Obama hater!
So, I caution you not to mortgage your house and spend the money on a big old block party for your liberal friends to party to celebrate the fact that your beloved King and Emporer are not involved.
We all know ... and you do to (be honest CTB) .... that Obama knew this story would seriously hinder his campaign for a second term, so he and his lackies, did all he could to cover it up until the elections, and Mitt Romney was no longer a threat to his vacation and green time!
Was it a conspiracy? No! Was it election tampering? I have no doubt! So, let's calm down, and wait until we hear the results of ALL the investigations going on in DC!
