Got Covid - again!

Had it 14 months ago. Rough time then!! Had every symptom except for the ones that would put you in the hospital.

Had the vaccines in Sept. and Oct. I think that's why I'm not as sick as then. I knew the vaccines would not prevent getting it,but might lessen the symptoms.

Thought I just had the crud. Sleeping with mouth open, headache, exhausted, no fever, coughing, sneezing, and dealing with too much snot! Sorry.

Doctor said they tested 31 people yesterday - all positive. Nurse said all tested today were positive.

It's bad here. Several schools closed 3-4 days last week. Everyone just use your common sense.

I got this from my choir director last time and ...... again this time. I'm going to tell him to either stay away from me or let's practice in the sanctuary where people can spread out. Our choir room right now is a little cramped.

I wonder if those 31 folks had symptoms. And if so, I wonder how many were jabbed repeatedly vs. those who did not get the needle.

Hopefully you'll be better in a while. Are you taking any supplements such as Zinc, Vit. D, Vit. C and Quercetin. Ivermectin would come in handy.

I don't know why people who go and get tested who had no symptoms unless they lived with someone who had Covid.

Yes, I take C, Zinc, D, A, and E. I have for at least a year.

A vaccine is permanent (may have to have two shots) to stop getting a disease. That is by definition. Hence polio vaccine is 99.999% permanent. As with small pox. Most of us have had vaccines.

A shot is temporary (no matter the number) to lessen or stop certain strains. That is by definition. People get a flu "shot" (not vaccine) in hopes that the blend of antibodies in that year's "shot" will lesson impact. Couple years ago the "shot" hit the mark 0% and people got the flu in record numbers.

Just lost a dear friend an hour ago, a long-retired professor at Maranatha Baptist University (Dr Monty Budahl) who lived a few blocks from me. His wife Louise is still in serious condition in the covid ward. Yesterday, he had them call our pastor to read Psalm 23 and pray for an easy last step in the journey.

There is no perfect answer in vaccines, shots/jabs or other wonderful alternatives (which we take). Prayers for you, Scarlett, and others who are battling (again). Many know my wife has only 25% lung function, so even a normal flu could be fatal. We need to uphold one another and bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (Gal 6:2)

Thanks, Dr. Bob. I'm not coughing as much, but still "spitting" up a lot. That's good, though. I still praise God that I have no fever.

Interesting. So many of the "vaccines" are not vaccines (like the chickenpox, hepatitis, measles, etc)?

Sorry you’re having to deal with it yet again, but hoping it will be easier this time.

As I recall, early on someone posted an article about a choir group coming down with COVID-19 en masse.

Maybe the choir director should face away from the choir, or work from a drum cage. :Wink But, yeah, ditch the small enclosed area.

Louise Budahl just passed, 4 hours after Monty. She did not know of his death, they were not able to communicate for a while though in ICU in same hospital. My 3 kids went to school with their 2, since they were married ten years later than us. They were both 80's and poor health. But . . . such a loss.
