Someone told me the other day when I told her Hello she replyed Heaven-0. she told me hello tells people of Hell as heaven-0 tells them of God Love.
What do you think.

Hello rhymes with Jello, and if you're of of Spanish decent, once again it's hello. Maybe we should change jello, too :D
-
Funny.
I think it's pretty silly, but to each her own, I guess.
I don't think of Hell when I say "hello," so that never would have occurred to me.
The origins of the word, though, have nothing at all to do with Hell. These feels like it could become an "X" conversation. ;) -
Should we say heaven'p instead of help?
Should we rename the city Heavensinki?
What about the heav'nicopter?
Let's not forget the flower, the heav'niotrope. -
What a great idea!!!

So, I should then cry out
"Heaven heaven-p me!"
The thought is wonderful, and it comes across as silly, but that's what we do. How many people do you know say "Gosh Darn" hoping that they have now stopped themselves from violating the 3rd commandment? That's worse than this heaven-o stuff. At least heaven-o makes some people think!
To find out what I believe the 3rd commandment really means, go to the webpage by clicking"The Third Commandment", but only if you are ready to chew on what you have been taught!
If the link doesn't work, the address is www.achievebalace.com/spirit/cnc/third.htm
I'm not saying I am right, I am saying that the 'traditional' meaning of the third commandment is "heaven-arious".

Hey, how are you?
Yo, bro!
What's happenin!
God's speed! -
May be it should be X-ello pronounced CHELLO, there's a true Christian greeting.
Sorry, couldn't resist. -

My word is Flitter. I've enjoyed all the clever remarks on this silly subject. The height of silliness (is that a word?) was in a Church of Christ man I knew. He was so righteous he would say "hallo" instead of hello.

When my Dad answers the phone he says "Yellow?!", instead of hello.

Heavnicopter, that's catchy! Plus since they go up to the sky it makes sense. We have enough people on the BB that most every state in the US is represented, plus some, and some other countries. If we really wanted to we could make this catch on.
Wanna try? :D

Well, it's beats "chopper" ;)

I heard about this "heaven-o" thing a few years ago, and it sounded just as goofy then as it does now.
I don't think any one really thinks of hell when they say "hello".
Sounds like someone has taken this "peculiar people" thing a bit too far?? ;) -
We wouldn't have this problem if all you foreigners would just learn how to say G'DAY! :D

My word is "man". You'd be surprised how many different meanings you can get by varying the tone, timber, and volume.
On the new words, I like:
