Hi, a long time ago I had a greek-hebrew lexicon that was huge in size. This book had every word in The Bible translated from the original hebrew and greek to english; I no longer have this book. Can anyone advise me of a good lexicon to purchase?. I need a new lexicon very badly. In HIS service---

Personally I have found that the speed and versatility of the digital lexicons are far superior to the book forms.
Libronix has an outstanding system although it can be costly. I'm not personally familiar with Zondervan's Bible program but it uses Kohlenberger's GREEK and HEBREW Lexicons.
On the inexpensive end of things you can probably purchase a Thayer's Greek Lexicon cheaply, it will be worth the price
And a BDB Hebrew Lexicon is well worth the price.
I think CBD offers a good bundle with both.

Here it is: BIBLICAL LANGUAGE LIBRARY
Still pricy but well worth it.

I like Abbott-Smith's Lexicon for NT Greek. It's a good balance of depth and portability (7.5" x 5" x 1.5"). Each entry also has concordance information, although it's not exhaustive in that respect. Unlike Thayer, Abbott-Smith (1937) was able to take papyri discoveries into account. And...it's only $20 paperback at CBD, $10 used at Amazon, etc.

I intend to use the greek and hebrew lexicons for general Bible study. I want to be able to cross reference words from the Old and New Testaments. I want to know what the original meanings were, for clarity.-----------
