I agree with the first sentence, but am struggling with the second sentence. :Unsure

Perhaps for good reason. She seems a diehard Jezebel, still wielding power and influence, dangerous to the end. Locking her up would not be enough.

I pity her as I would any other such wicked person, even hope for her repentance, but with little expectation. Most of my pity is reserved for her many victims, including those she’s mindlessly duped into following her ways, voting her way.
