I voted for other. I don't clean it until the Environmental Protection Agency declares it a disaster area and then have them pay to clean it up.

I prefer the pads that go on the wand that you flush. It just seems so unhygienic to have the brushes sitting around. But then again, I would toss a bunch of bleach in the bowl, swish it around with the brush then let the brush sit in the bleach water in the bowl so they were pretty disinfected anyway.

I use a brush and bleach, but I think I'll try some of those disposable thingys.
Interesting topic. Makes me feel a little flush. :D

I thought of it today on my hands and knees cleaning our toilets...

Simply toss in a cat, close the lid and flush at least three times. Believe me, it will be scrubed cleaner than any commercial cleaner can do. CAUTION: Do not be anywhere near the bathroom when the cat figures out how to open the lid!:applause:

What a guy!

So, how do you clean yours?
Saggywoman got it correct. I'm on all fours, hugging and scrubbing that sucker by hand. Sometimes I even use something beside my bare hands! :)

I use Clorox 'mints' in the tank and when one needs to be replaced, I use the brush and Clorox cleaner before I put the new 'mint' into place.

That is for the inside...the outside gets cleaned with Clorox wipes on my hands and knees praising God that I don't have to do this very often. LOL

Your name brought a thought to mind. Are we looking for toilet cleaning reformation in this thread? Maybe the Martin Luther of toilet cleaning?

I hear you, Donna. We had an outhouse in the back yard the whole time I was growing up (it had to be moved every year). And WE lived in the CITY... :BangHead:

I did pretty much the same as this in the past. I can't tolerate chemicals/bleach anymore so I get hubby, daughter or son to do it and they prefer to use one of the under the rim spray job thingies. But whatever you do, people, please close the lid before each flush when "using"!!!! :wavey:
