Everytime I go out, either to a Mall or out to eat I see a lot of young people with their faces in a I-Phone or equivalent device. many times they will walk right into you because they are paying more attention to their phones. This all seems very disrespectful and annoying to me. We see this at our family get togethers where relatives sit around with their faces in their phones and ignoring everyone else. I even see it at church. Does anyone else have a problem with all this?

How do you feel about hand held devices?
Very easily. My palms have a lot of nerve endings. -

We've taught my girls that people are more important than phones and they are to put them down when they are out with others. If they are at the mall or something, they will quickly check a message but they won't have their phones out all the time. I HATE that.

I am much more annoyed or concerned with the misuse of fire arms. Remember "Guns don't kill People, People kill People." Hand held devices are here to stay and will soon replace laptop and desktop PC's. I am eighty years old and and along with my golf game one of the greatest pleasures is exchanging text mgs and photos with my grand and great grandchildren (All 16 of them) on my smart phone. The people who object to the IPHONE are the same group who advised Henry Ford to "Get a Horse" and remarked to the Wright Bros "If God had intended for man to fly he would have given him wings". Misuse of Smart Phones do annoy me.

At least the kids with their faces glued to their smart phones aren't as annoying as the adult including everyone within 50 ft. of their cell phone conversations. I cannot stand that. I guess that is one great blessing in being able to text message. I must admit though I don't text message.

In our house, there are times that phones go off. If we are together, we don't play on the phone. If you need to answer a text, make it quick but you are not spending the whole time texting. Dinner time is another time that phones are shut off. It's just polite.
