Just wondering what everybody does to unwind. I see alot of people in here wound up and ready to explode, hostile and abrasive to put it lightly, which, is rather ironic. It's kinda like "I'm not going to hell but you are because you (fill in the blank here)". Now, to keep up that attitude would mean some serious long term damage in your mental state, your character, your spiritual state, and may bleed over into your physical state. So, I can only assume that people have to unwind and unload.
Problem is... depending on who you ask of course... apparently we can't drink, we can't eat a whole bunch, we can't listen to secular music, and if we can't listen to secular music then we can't watch secular movies... and any number of things that are normally associated with unwinding. So basically, I'm real curious as to what you guys do to unwind. Now, there's about fifty hundred of you just waiting to pounce on the keyboard and proclaim that it's praying that you do. Well, that's great, but, if that's true, and it really works that great for everybody, then why do so many people here seem so angry? So, I'm wondering, besides for praying, what do you calm people do that is so relaxing, that actually works, and isn't controversial whatsoever?
how do you UNLOAD/UNWIND???

Sim racing. I drive racecars in Nascar 2003, F1Challenge, Dirt Track Racing 2, Sports Car GT, Need for Speed 3, and, in the future, rFactor. Sim racing is the only gaming I do on my computer.

Things RBell does to unwind:
-Advertise a "guys lockin." Bet the guys they can't all fit in the freezer. When they try, close the door and go take a nap (drill airholes in it beforehand, and turn it off to avoid lawyers).
-Sneak around to any KJVO church you know, and put "NIV" on the marquis. Time their responses.
-Send text messages to all my youth that says, "Please return to store for maintenance."
-find a movie poster for the old Whitney Houston movie "Waiting to exhale." Hang that poster by the door of your oldest mens or womens SS class (whichever is grumpier). Put a note with the poster--telling them of their new class name. If you have an education minister, and it ain't you: Claim the decision to rename the class was the ed. minister's idea.
-At all costs, find a church where a member or former member is a member of a professional sports team. Gives "visitation" a whole new meaning.
-Type inane comments on the BB and time how long it takes for someone with no sense of humor to get offended. Laugh as desired. -

For me, honestly, it's one or more of the following:
- reading
- dancing (I know! I know!)
- napping
- oil painting
- writing
- participating on the BB

Slap someone then you have to spend a long time repenting and don't have time to get angry for a while.

When I get home each evening, I take all the dollar bills I got from my taxi custoemrs and :type: them into: WHERESGEORGE.COM
Then I see how many of the previous bills I entered have been found by someone else. I have probally had bills end up in over half of the states.

1. Cuddling up with my husband. I totally relax when we are together.
2. Reading
3. Gardening
4. Time with the animals
5. Oh yeah, and dinner with our closest friends. Sometimes...gasp...we even have a glass of wine with dinner....then we watch a musical or comedy after or just talk the evening away. When it's Gina and the kids, we play...oh gasp again...cards (Go Fish, that despicable sinful game, last time). Barry is reading this and mentions that he is doing his best not to be corrupted. He doesn't drink wine and he's truly horrible at cards, even Go Fish! -

I have a favorite secular board/site that I post on and they can get a little "rough around the edges", but nobody beats a good group of Baptists for the occassional cut throat discussions! And how sad.....:flower: -
I post on BB....
