Are you a nomad or a traveler.
For the purpose of the poll -
1) "living in a State" means you were there in excess of 99 days.
2) State also includes any "commonwealth", DC, or any recognized territory of the US - ie Guam, Puerto Rico, ect
How many States have you lived in

In addition I spent 4 weeks at Ft Irwin, CA
................I spent 8 weeks at Ft Dix, NJ -
I have been in 47 of the lower 48 and the southern provinces of Canada except the Maritimes. All things considered, it there was a better place than western Washington I would have gone there to retire.

Well, that was weird....I have never visited the USA but I have lived in 4 states and 1 territory in Australia. I guess I have visited a lot of states in the USA through people on the BB....so does virtual visiting count????

I should have read the post first because I entered that I lived in 2 states but according to the explanation, I have only lived in one. But I'm still going to count the other one because it was the state I was born in!! I was born in California and lived there for 18 days before I came to NY to my adopted family. I've lived in NY for the rest of my life. :)

I have only lived in Tennessee and Georgia. Tennessee for only about a year, and Georgia for the rest of my life. :)

Wow, guess I'm not the only nomad. LOL
I tend to want to move 1-3 years after moving.
I've got the itch again, but must wait for a few things to settle. Although I have to admit I've never taken to this state.
ASAP, I'll be somewhere where I can feel sand between my toes and see sun set behind the mountains. :love2:
Pamela, we share CA and PA.
Salty, we share AK.
billreber, we share AK and CA.
ktn, we share PA.
I've now got all the states that start with "O" on my list. LOL
I've got to make my way through living in the states that start with M though. Montana is my favorite, but I'd like to do a stint in Maine first.
Time shall tell.
I know a lot of people like to settle down and stay in one place, but for the life of me, I'll never understand that. Give me a while and I'll be the little old lady in the big RV, nothing to tie me down. WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! -
I visited two states, New York and Pennsylvania, back in 1970, or it may have been 1971, when I was a member of the Essex Youth Orchestra (that's Essex as in the UK county). The ortchestra did a tour in US and Canada.
