Mike Huckabee on Monday predicted that President Barack Obama won’t finish out his second term in light of the “cover-up” of the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and the former Arkansas governor called the affair “more serious than Watergate.”
“I believe that before it’s all over, this president will not fill out his full term. I know that puts me on a limb,” the former Arkansas governor said on “The Mike Huckabee Show.” “But this is not minor. It wasn’t minor when Richard Nixon lied to the American people and worked with those in his administration to cover-up what really happened in Watergate. But, I remind you — as bad as Watergate was, because it broke the trust between the president and the people, no one died. This is more serious because four Americans did in fact die.”

IMO,
It all depends on what the mainstream media decides to do with this story. Will they keep it buried in the want ads section, or will there be enough outcry to force them to bring it to "headline news" status? -
Huckabee might have been right 20 years ago, but today no one cares.
-
I believe Mike is dreaming.

<Sigh>
So which is it?
Obama is the most arrogant, egotistical, self-serving president in American history who will go into campaign mode, lie, and do anything to hang onto his title and office?
OR
Obama will tuck tail and evacuate the office rather than face a potential impeachment hearing? -

I'm only saying that the far right's view of Obama changes to suit their mood. I agree that he is not going to be impeached over Benghazi. Sounds like war drums being beaten by the tea partiers to get money into the coffers for the 2014 elections. -

Even if the House were to vote to impeach, would the Senate convict?
-
I think we know what they'll do with it. If this doesn't stick to Clinton, it certainly won't stick to Obama. -

Where was your deep concern when:
-
-
All the information has still not been presented. To say he will or won't be impeached is premature at this point. Its still a fluid situation. The fact it will be on record Clinton deliberately tried to bypass counter terrorist unit when it was still being reported as nothing more than a protest over a YouTube video shows the clear deception of the administration.

that begs the next logical question. WHY is this event one this administration is determined to cover up and bury?
I do not see it Mr. Huckabee's way. I can dream about it though! -
Huckabee has lost touch with reality, if he ever was in touch in the first place.
-
Those were all events that caused concern; but where's the indication that there was fore-warning that was ignored? In the only event that the author attempted to draw such a conclusion (9/11), they posted a partial transcript of Rice being asked questions--and completely glossed over the fact that Rice was going to say more, but was cut off. You know what that means when someone's cut off from giving more explanation, don't you? (in case you don't, it means the person asking the question got the answer they wanted, and don't bother them with context, additional information that casts a different light, etc.)
If those events bother you that much, then please, by all means, post the transcripts about the investigations, and let's look at whether those events were covered up, whether anyone was grossly negligent, whether anyone denied military support, and especially whether anyone was fired or otherwise held accountable.
For this particular topic, can YOU name one person who was fired or otherwise held accountable for the situation that led to a U.S. ambassador's death? -

Asking C.T.Boy to address facts is like asking your cat to get you a beer. It will not happen.

Noting is gonna come of this. The Republicans are just as culpable as Obama. They allow him to get away with all manner of illegal unconstitutional actions. The Republicans know putting Obama on trial would expose their treasonous acts too. Might as well whistle Dixie and watch reruns of night court.

Just as the police cannot respond quickly enough to every crime, the US Military cannot scramble to every situation in a hostile world in time either. This is a sad thing that happened, but there is nothing that could be done. Those who think this will bring down the President deceive themselves. Guess that birther thing didn't pan out, eh?
Besides if Bush wasn't brought down over ignoring the PDBs warning of Bin Laden using jets to attack us, resulting in the worst terrorist attack on our soil, the incident in Libya will amount to nothing. -
