Every time something like this happens, that is, a celebrity spokesperson, a political pundit, a news talking head, etc. says something provocative I immediately have to do some mental gravitas mathematics to determine whether or not the speaker is worthy to be listened to.
Example when Ted Danson (actor) says something about policy issues I couldn't care less what he says. He's an actor with some activism in his resume.
A gray area would be whenever Bill Maher says something provocative. Yes he is an entertainer but he's also a political commentator and a donor to the Democratic Party.
Arianna Huffington deserves to be listened to. She heads up the Huffington Post a new-style internet based media entity owned by AOL. She was previously a conservative commentator but turned liberal in the past 10 years or so. I think she has a handle on both sides of issues. I give her kudos for speaking up.
While on the subject I'm often bothered by comments like, "Why doesn't so-and-so condemn what Obama said?" Or "how come so-and-so doesn't return campaign contributions from that fringe group?" -
ITL, I agree with you about Huffington, but she is apt to forget this incident and jump back on the obama bandwagon in about a week.

The Obama ad is not nearly as egregious as the way the GOP Convention in 2008 paraded 9/11 families up on stage for political points.

What is worrisome to me is the fact when Clinton said in the ad "what if it hadn't been Bin Laden or if the Seal team was killed" which pointed to how would this make Obama look if the Seals had been killed. WHAT!!!! So all Obama is worried about is how he looks if Seals are killed. What about the Seals and their families. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WIZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!

The memo had already been drafted. -
