    That's simply not true. Satan is most certainly not confined, as is evident from the prevalence of sin. Jesus is NOT presently ruling the world from Jerusalem. The average man doesn't live nearly as long as the average tree. And the wolf does not lie down peacefully with the lamb.

    In a way it is - beginning with Jesus incarnation & saving work, The resurrection, ascension, & heavenly reign of Christ, including the call of the Gentiles in the present (a)millennium, & looking forward to the glorious NH&NE when perfect peace will reign in the both the human & the animal kingdom.

    You're not paying attention. I quoted the leading Baptist systematic theologian, and did not take it upon myself to give my own definition.

    And once again you are being insulting. What is this, "everyone is wrong besides you" thing, if not an insult. I suppose you just can't help it, though you told me you don't mean to insult. It's part of your sinful nature that you haven't let the Spirit control yet.

    And before you say I have insulted asterisktom, I have not attacked him or his character personally. Everything I have written to him has been about his execrable doctrine of full preterism, which attacks the very nature of Jesus Christ.
    I agree with this. That's not the point. The point is that Covenanter said we are now in the millennium, not that the millennium is a metaphor for the present kingdom of Christ.
    Exactly right. But you are not paying attention. I said that Covenanter was taking a postmil position because he said that we are now in the Millennium, not that he believed Christ reigned through the church.
