If the Pope is God's reresentative on Earth, and he is in charge of Christ's true church, shouldn't he (they) be denouncing this sort of thing, instead of building huge, gothic cathedrals to house these dolls ?
Idolatry, or God's will ?

I Have the Discernment to Know that the Present Day Roman Catholic Church is a synagogue of satan!
I have no doubt nor have I made any verbal assumption that someone who attends a Catholic church cannot be saved!
any Preacher, pastor or Evangelist who presents the gospel proclamation designed to introduce a person to Christ and to appeal to that person for conversion has the kerymga right. -
every member of Christs TRUE Church is written down in the Lambs Book of Life and i dont think it has what denomination that person belongs to jotted down beside their name, I could be wrong but I dont think so.
The pope is just a man like you and I.
It is my hopes that He knows Jesus Christ as his lord and Savior and persues a personal relationship with him. -
The Law of God did not say "When you make a graven image to bow down before it and worship something in heaven or earth - be sure that the someone you are praying to is really worthwhile".
Though the RC posts seem to argue that such was said in the 2nd commandment. But that commandment forbids the practice so common among pagans of making a statue that REPRESENTS some deity and then praying TO THE DEITY by simply USING that image in a prayer service.
This IS the practice among all pagan systems of religion. They do not claim that their god is MADE out of wood or stone - they claim that the wood or stone REPRESENTS the deity to whom the pray.
This is why Catholic Digest could speak of pagans praying to the "family gods" and Catholics praying to dead relatives and dead saints as basically equivalent systems. The latter replacing the former.

I guess the thing to do is let this disappear, until the next "you will regret rejecting Christ's true church" onslaught.
