At this time the talking heads, politicians, and legal lips are saying the clergy does not have to worry about being forced to conduct same sex marriages if we believe it is a sin.
I remember a certain president say, "if you like your insurance, you can keep it!" Well, I for one do not believe those leading this nation. It may be years away, but it will come to pass that, like in Canada, clergy will be forbidden to preach against same sex sins, and they will be forced into marrying these folks, or face legal action.
That is my opinion. What do you believe when it comes to clergy rights and gay sin and conducting weddings for them?
I believe in worrying about problems that actually exist.
I don't care what Obama said about the ACA, I care about what the Supreme Court said yesterday.
These are two different things by two different branches of Government.
Rather than rest on their laurels and be satisfied with their victory, the g*y lobby will continue to push.
It is inevitable.
I have gambled for money one time in my life (decades ago).
I won.
I would be willing to gamble a second time that this ruling will be used by the same people (through the Government) for further harassment of the Church.
It's not over yet.
Not by a long shot.
"Bake The Cake or we will destroy you and your business" has just begun.
Welcome to the new world where YOU are a bigot if you agree with God.
Of course this ruling will be used to go after the church. Considering that even before this ruling bakeries and photographers were being sued, but now that marriage is in the words of SCOTUS a "fundamental right" a pastor that will not marry a gay couple is standing in the way of their "fundamental right"
Saying things against "gay marriage" will be seen as attacking their "fundamental right"
What about the minister up in Idaho who has been sentenced to jail for refusing to marry a homosexual.
(notice I refuse to use the sugar-coated term of "gay"!)
