When is the conversation, any conversation, really about what God CAN do?
God cannot violate His nature and not be God ... that is the only thing that God cannot do. The question is always what does God choose to do from His almost infinite possibilities of choices? The answer is found in His Word (all of it, which becomes the tricky part).

Quite a bit of time in between and he did not confer with flesh and blood.
And I will await the example of these giftings.

Ezekiel 36:27
King James Version (KJV)
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
He cared. That is just a Biblical Truth.

"He came to His own and His own received Him not" John 1:11
Ezek 36
24 For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26 Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. 28 You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers
Ezek 18
21 “But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced, he will live. 23 Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?
24 “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die. 25 Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not right.’ Hear now, O house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right? 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and dies because of it, for his iniquity which he has committed he will die. 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life. 28 Because he considered and turned away from all his transgressions which he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 29 But the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not right.’ Are My ways not right, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right?
30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord God. “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. -

The life and death in view in Ezekiel 18 is physical, not spiritual. What is in view is they will not be put to death physically...
Hebrews 10:28-29
King James Version (KJV)
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Men do not obtain eternal life through keeping the Law:
Galatians 3:21-22
King James Version (KJV)
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Ephesians 4:8 KJB - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
As for sister White, could you please be specific in how you think she failed the "test of a true prophet"? First of what do you think the "test" is, and how do you think she failed this test? Please be specific so that it may be examined carefully. If you cannot provide such examples, how am I or any to take your claim seriously, other than simple prejudice and apriori bias? Give your best example please, and let us look. -

Well now that I have been saved miraculously form the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and its leaders, I realize now that I had two footholds for the devil.
The first is that I thought there was a Church within the Church that was doctrinally pure. However, i was prideful and assumed that I could figure out who was really of God or error on my own with a simple reading of the bible, which is a fool's errand.
I concluded that there was no doctrinally pure Church by relying on my own mind, and I started to distance myself from modern Christianity in my pride. I thus isolated myself and stopped attending church. I thought I knew what a pure Church looked like given my biblical and theological studies. So, how did I know who was real in the end: subjective experience that bore no fruit in the lives of others! I let knowledge and foolishness puff me up so much that the first elitist church movement that told me I was right, and that they were the real and pure Church I was waiting for, duped me.
Second, I let my supernatural experiences trump a down to earth and literal reading of the bible.
I refused to notice that in having and using all of my "charismatic gifts," that I did not want to read the bible anymore or even pray. My whole life was 95% service to others with my gifts. As Revmitchell told me: prayer, study, and service should be equal in my life.
I talked earlier of a test of "Charismatic gifts" but I was unwilling to look at my abilities with a sober mind.
Thus so far I have:
1. Does it bring fame to God and not man? (1 Peter 4:10-11)
2. Does it lead people to Jesus? (Acts 2)
3. Does it strengthen me? (Romans 1:11)
4. Does it testify to Jesus? (John 15:26)
5. Does it benefit others? (1 Corinthians 12:7)
Only one of these is in fact fulfilled, and then only in small part: People said I benefited them with my gifts, but only those in NAR churches. My abilities never made people look at Jesus Christ, did not testify to Jesus Christ, did not strengthen me, and led no one to Jesus.
