    1. SC will remove the Confederate flag from the capital grounds
    2. Walmar is removing all products displaying the Confederate flag
    3. Mississippi is moving in the direction of removing the Confedeate flag

I expect other companies and states are or will examine their policy concerning the Confederate flag.

Isn't it ironic that the spark that touched off this was by a young man whose intent was to start a race war. Instead he has successfully set in place movements to remove a symbol that he prized.

I think the democrats and liberal PC crowd can be proud of the way they have followed Emanuel's example of exploiting a crisis to "get results".

What would you all do to "get results" if there were no victim's blood to dance in?

I applaud them for doing something so that those 9 lives were not in vain. Racism directly contributed to Dylann's cultural conditioning. And flying that flag obviously gives certain people the impression that that period of history was okay in the way that white people enslaved, lynched, hanged, burned and murdered black people.

Now CTB, I think the real irony lies in the fact that the right and so many on this board are always talking about how Blacks are always bringing up slavery and the past. Yet they don't mind bringing up the past when it comes to flying this racial rancor representing flag and how it represents "our heritage".

You left out a word Zaac. Democrats. I fixed your post for you.

The real irony lies in the fact that you and Crabby are actually condemning your own democratic heritage of enslaving, lynching, hanging, burning and murdering black people.

Those are the facts. You can't change them. You can't re-write them. You can't blot them out. All you can do is be totally dishonest about it.

Then be proud of how your dishonesty "won the day".

    That's just pathetic.

It didn't need fixing. I don't care if they were Democrats. It was a different party than it is today.

    You're confused. I don't have a Democrat heritage. I'm a direct descendant of a Confederate General.

And a heritage of enslaving, lynching, hanging, burning and murdering black people isn't stationary. It moved with the hearts of the people who moved and you and others aren't man enough to admit it.

Yeah the old party was honest and up front about it's racism, the new one tries to hide it's racism by blaming it on others.

That's cowardly and dishonest to the extreme.

I'm pretty confident that most us of here got a pretty good idea of who you're directly descended from spiritually.

Gee Zaac I'm really hard pressed to believe you actually believe that rubbish.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

You've been sowing division like mad so what do you suppose you'll reap from that crop?

The new one is the GOP. It ain't trying to hide anything.

The GOP is just finally coming out of it's racial closet.

Now now you naughty boy. Stop trying to flirt with me.

That's on you. Anybody who can read and see knows that the racists and white supremacist groups rushed to the GOP after the Blacks started switching to the Democrat Party.

He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

Truth divides. And as the lot of ya, as did white Christians during slavery and Jim Crow, refuse to acknowledge the hand that white people have played in the oppression and marginalizing of black lives and the part that a lot of whites continue to play, then yes indeed, you will continue to reap what you have sown.

I can tell you that the Right will not see a President in the White House any time soon because of the unrepentant wickedness of those who say they follow Jesus.

For just as HE did with Israel, He will continue to give His unrepentant people more of what they don't want until, if His forbearance holds out that long, they humble themselves and repent of this wickedness.

And if that takes subjugating you to someone who will keep his foot on your wicked necks, then so be it.

Your talk and the talk of the majority of folks on here and in white America is pure foolishness as the same thing is being repeated that was done back in the days of Moses and again during slavery and again during Jim Crow.

Pride just keeps yall from seeing it.

Man please. You know it's the truth. You're just afraid to admit it because then white people who support the "partyism" that you pretend to reject while trumpeting it, will know you're full of it. And also come to the realization that they too are complicit.

Better a young kid craving attention than a grown old man conspiracy theorist craving attention. There, there. It's okay. They'll still accept you.

He's just a lonely white kid steeped in the "privilege" he rails against. Spouts it from the writers word for word.

It's all just to sow dissension.
