Just wondering out loud how many of you think this bigfoot stuff has merit? In fact, have you ever seen one, or do you know a credible person who has claimed to see one?
Or is this some kind of demonic activity trying to mess with the hearts and souls of the non-believers or those on the fringe of faith?
Is BIGfoot for Real?

That show in Animal Planet proves that some people will believe anything that comes down the pike. #facepalm

To me , available options would be:
Hoax
people misdentifying normal animals
Survivors from Flood age
unknown primate/hominid
supernatural/demonic
Would see last option works for ghosts/Ufo's etc
Would tend to see for animals, best options are people misdenifying, and that some survived into current time! -
I believe bigfoot does exist, right along with the Loch Ness "monster" and a host of other cryptozoological creatures God created that we have yet to classify and study. Every year, scientists "discover" new species. Most of the time these are small creatures like bugs, but last year a new mammal was discovered. The giant squid and the gorilla were both considered cryptids until formal discovery.
Consider that Christian missionaries in Papua New Guinea have testified seeing the Ropen, also called Kundua, (pterodactyl) which was supposed to have died out "millions of years ago." I have personally seen video footage of the Ropen as it flew and glowed in the night sky and it was not a hoax.
TV shows that rely on sensationalism do nothing to help the legitimate study of cryptozoology. We do science a great dis-service by doubting the existence of anything we do not understand or physically see. -
And Loch ness "monster" could very well be either a giant Eel, or else unknowm long neck type of seal, both adapting to local environment!
also saw where it could be ab adapted greenland shark even!
And ther have been numerous reports in history of dinosaurs in recent times, most are fale/false, but some do ring true!
think those who see evolution, or esle those time scales in play, would ridicule all of this, but if one sees that mankind did have some experiences with these creatures in past, then? -
I believe Bigfoot to be as real as the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.

No.
But I wouldn't compare Big-foot to say, Loch Ness Monster or some others. I think cryptozoology has a real place, and there are likely some very strange creatures we have no present knowledge of.
Nessie, I think probably exists.
I have no problem believing in the distinct possibility of certain "sea-monsters" as it were.
But Big-Foot doesn't pass the smell test to me. It is supposedly found all over the world. It's not like it is hiding in, say, the OCEAN or is found only in one small part of the World like Nessie or perhaps here-to-fore unseen Pterydactyls (which may be real). If something enjoys the level of geographical dispersion that Big-Foot supposedly does, someone has irrefutable proof of it by now. -

With Bigfoot, who knows. I personally doubt it exists now, but it could have been a species that went extinct centuries ago that still exists in folklore. The Gigantopithecus is a species of ape that many scientist believe died out forever ago and lived in Asia. There are chanced it did in fact exist until recent history and the story just passed down through generations.

Bigfoot no longer exists. I killed the last one about two years ago and made a swell living room area rug...
