Is Headstart an effective program

    As a free baby sitting service for erstwhile parents who wanted a little freedom to escape the responsibility of child rearing , it is a great success.

    From a Child Day Care Licensing Manager...

    ...I'd unequivocally say NO!

    We would do just as well if ALL the private day care in this nations was privatized. However, there are thousands of folks who work for the state and county scholl systems that would disagree with me. After all, Headstart keeps a roof over their heads at our expense; and most headstarts are nothing more than socialist preschools for the ENTITLED!
