Is it ethical for a pastor to preach from a 400-year-old translation of the Bible that is full of archaisms and devoid of 400 years of biblical scholarship?
Is it ethical?

Of course it is ethical to preach from the KJV. Even though you did not openly say it, this thread is to flame the KJV or those that only use the KJV. <attack deleted>. Even though some radical KJVO's stoop to low levels, we should not.
Most people today use the 1769 edition of the KJV (236 years old) or the 1873 edition of the KJV (132 years old). So, your thesis does not hold water in more than one way.

Want me to preach from this Geneva Bible and see it that is ethical or not? I think i'll start at the next Med(ieval)Fair -

If the KJV is a satisfactory translation, the KJOists are correct in their claim that the modern versions are doing a whole lot more harm than they are good.

Don't fall into that error of buying the "typo or modernizing" smoke and mirrors. -

Is it ethical for some folks to raise such questions?
NOPE!
Does it even make sense to ask such a question?
NOPE!
Is the question even accurate?
