Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

I guess it depends on how one defines the doctrine.

I believe original sin is a Biblical doctrine. It is through one man's sin that death entered the world, and death spread to all men because all sin.

So Adam's sin would be that "original sin".

Technically the original sin was committed by Eve but it was accounted to Adam because woman came from man.

Technically, Eve was tricked, deceived. Adam was not. Adam made a deliberate choice. 1 Timothy 2:13-14

So are you saying that if one is tricked/deceived into sinning it is not a sin?

    No.

    I was citing Paul:

14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, into transgression came, 1 Tim 2

Actually so did Eve. She knew the restriction on eating that fruit so she knew it was a sin. She chose to believe the lie.
