The Bible tells us that whatever not done by faith is sin. Failure to have faith in Christ is sin. True, it is a choice, but it is still sin.

Hebrews 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Hebrews 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

What was first preached. The author of the Book of Hebrews is referring to the gospel being preached to the OT saints. They did not believe. Their sin of unbelief condemned them. Then he warns those in this NT dispensation not to fall into the same error (the sin of unbelief).

Let's not forget I John 5:10, 'He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.'

The author of Hebrews nowhere said unbelief was a sin. He just stated that the did not enter in because of unbelief.

Once again, given enough rope you will hang your self in your stubbornness.

This is such twisted heresy that it boggles the mind.

If you don't believe what God said, you call Him a liar. That, my friend, is a sin.
God said that he laid on Christ all of our iniquity. If you believe this, you are saved. If you don't, you call him a liar.
Why did God include a non-sin in Rev 21:8 along with a buch of other sins?
John 3:18-19 clearly states that unbelief is associated with 'evil deeds.'

I don't understand your point here, but the sin is in not obeying God's command of "you shall not commit adultery".

He also commands us to obey the gospel, which is "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved". If you don't obey it, you have sinned.

I don't get it either, other than the fact that must be grasping for anything to prove his point.

BUt this is more stupidity that just makes the argument look even worse.

<A href="lp:29841">2Ti 2:13If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
I agree with SFIC; he is not speaking heresy.

What depth, degree and measure of faith must I obtain?

You agree that people go to hell with their sins paid for?

What does it mean to die in your sins?

Stating a command to have no other gods besides God only applies to the Father and not Jesus is heresy.

That command was quoted from the Old Testament.

Exodus 20:2-3 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

You do see who gave the command, do you not? Jehovah God gave that command.

..so Jesus was nowhere to be found in the OT? Do you also believe He was a created being 2000 years ago?

    LORD represents the Godhead.

You may want to go back and learn who LORD was speaking of.

LORD refers to Jehovah God, not the Godhead.

So now YHWH is a separate entity from the Godhead? Unreal...

So, it's ok to have other gods before Christ??

    I'm confused.
