Will the removal of Jews from Gaza by Jewish soldiers have a backlash?

Any backlash will be miniscule in comparison to the escalation of terrorism toward the Jews, now that PLO, Hamas etc KNOW that their tactics actually work!!

If the Palestinians prove that they can handle their freedom from Israeli rule responsibly, then Sharon will have won his gamble and the peace process can proceed and the children of the Israelis and the Palestinians will be able to look forward to a much, much brighter future. -

But terrorism is not going to subside in Israel. There are too many Arabs in the population. Israel will have to seal Gaza, which has mostly been done already. I think that Israel should refuse to allow a road between Gaza and the Bank and that Israel should insist upon the return of Gaza to Egypt in order to prevent a new state, Al-qaedaland.

I think that the Arabs should sell out of Israel and move away. I cannot see that the Europeans will prop up a state in Gaza from now until the end of the world so you know that the USA is going to be stuck with the bill for that area. Does anyone really believe that the Arabs can make Gaza into an economically productive area? Unlike the Bank, what is of tourist interest there? The Gaza is going to be one big Arab ghetto with no future.

Ken what time are you referring to?

I believe it was called the 7 day war.

Yes, when the Arab nations attacked Israel in the 7-day war, God helped Israel DEFEAT the Arabs and Israel acquired the Gaza Strip from Egypt in the victory of battle!
Little Israel, outflanked and outnumbered by all those rich Arabs, and YHWH brought the victory to Israel.
And now, the terrorists have gotten it by ill-gotten gains with blood on their homicidal bomber hands, using the US (who is supposedly fighting a war against terrorism) as their partner to drive Israel into the sea. -
Joseph do you mean the 6 Day War 1967? Can you please share with me why you believe the Gaza belonged to the Palestinians during that time or any other time for that matter? Thanks.

With the strength that the Israeli military possesses there ain't no one gonna push Israel into the sea. That's a bunch of way overblown rhetoric.

As the military and diplomatic crisis continued, on June 5, 1967 Israel preemptively attacked Egypt and Syria, destroying their air forces on the ground within a few hours. Jordan joined in the fighting belatedly, and consequently was attacked by Israel as well. The Egyptian, Syrian and Jordanian armies were decisively defeated, and Israel captured the West Bank from Jordan, the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, and the Golan Heights from Syria.
The 1967 war, which lasted only six days, established Israel as the dominant regional military power. The speed and thoroughness of Israel's victory discredited the Arab regimes.
