A friend of mine has some good questions:

Could someone explain to me why Israel was under attack by Palestinian Guerillas during the years 1948-1967 when the West Bank was part of an Arab State. If these borders are so crucial why was Jordan allowed to rule the West Bank without any outrage?

Didn't Jordan kick the Jews out of Jerusalem's Jewish quarter in 1948? Where was the international resolutions forcing Jordan to divide or share the city?

Why didn't Palestinians demand a state in the West bank between 1948-1967

You also have the Promise to Abraham which attaches to His descendants.

Genesis 12:1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

God will bless those nations that bless Israel and curse those which don't. Our Nation has blessed the Jewish people and the Nation Israel for many years and God has kept His blessings upon us. Why is our nation not coming out of the economic problems and seeing blessing matbe because our President doesn't bless Israel but curses her every chance He gets.

The last nation that cursed the Jews and killed millions of them was defeated in WW II overwhelming defeated and was split into two nations for several decades.

Sorry, I just can't make a Bible connection here. President Obama has never cursed the Jews that I am aware of. He may not treat the modern nation of Israel with the regard due a trusted ally, but that is not the same as cursing the Jews in my mind. Modern Israel is not the recipient of the promises God give to His chosen people.


The problem here is political, not Biblical, as far as I can see. He appears to be turning on a long and trusted ally for what he perceives as expediency. I suspect this is a huge mistake.

I would tend to agree. Although I am pre-mill and pre-trib, I don't see every headline as a step toward the end except that whatever system you believe, we all see God's control of all the circumstances of history.

He apologizes to our enemies and makes our friends into our enemies. It is typical left wing thinking.

But from now until election day, he views everything through the prism of ""4 More Years". He thinks he can get more votes thru this step than he will lose.
